We had a great time staying at Hamlin Lake. It is close to fun things to do. We tend to be beach bums and we liked both the state park beach and Stearns Park beach. This cabin is not lakeside, but it is quiet and secluded. The house was very clean and we all had plenty of room (9 of us) when hanging out for the day or evening. We needed more linens, specifically bath towels and wash cloths, as well as kitchen towels, so we had to do laundry daily. We eat in a lot on vacation and there were no convenience items such as non-stick spray or salt and pepper, so you need to bring things with you if you plan to cook. There are not a lot of dishes either so you will be handwashing or running the dishwasher all the time. The only real down-side was not having enough outdoor seating around the fire pit or a patio table and chairs, so we didn't spend a lot of time outdoors like we usually do. All in all it was a very pleasant stay.

We were up visiting family that lives nearby but we needed the extra space and house for the extended family. We were very happy to stay at this beautiful home. It was perfect for our needs. Thank you!

Excellent communication and directions from owner both pre-trip and via clear instructions onsite; layout worked well for us as we have teen and adult kids so everyone had plenty of space for the different hours they kept; well stocked kitchen and plenty of dishes for cooking; great sized dining room table for eating in and playing family games; extra wall AC units kept the bedroom temperatures cool on the second floor; would definitely consider staying here again if we are in the area

We used all the bedrooms at one time or another and had various groups of family staying anywhere from all 4 nights to 2. The three levels with some privacy on each were fantastic.

We had an amazing weekend! It allowed my now husband and I to get married in a private ceremony on the beach! Made for a great escape for both our families! Thank you!

The house is set up perfectly including four bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Accommodations included everything we needed, including kitchenware, games, and grill.
The property is private and in a quiet neighborhood. It has enough room for the kids to play outside, including a fire pit for s’mores. It was a quick and easy drive to downtown Ludington.

From the moment we stepped into this home to the moment we left. It was an excellent experience. Plenty of room for our family to spread out and not get on each other’s nerves! This property was perfect! It was clean, cute, and had a well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. We had 5 adults and 5 kids, ranging in ages from 3-9, and we were all very comfortable. We loved that there were bedrooms on the main, upper, and lower floors so everyone had space and bathrooms. The three king beds were fantastic so adults were comfortable and the kids loved sharing the room. Soft sheets, ample towels and beach towels, and convenient laundry right by the entrance! The outdoor space was wonderful… fun to have a bonfire and also plenty of space for the kids to run around. The location was great - close enough to the state park, the beach, and downtown, but quiet, lovely spot away from city noise. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

This property is beautiful. Hard to get an idea of the layout from pics. It is perfect! Large (essentially master) upstairs with bunk room across hall. Another master in main floor and a third in the base area. Along with a full den set up! All furniture was good quality and very comfy. Beds were VERY comfy. Kitchen is beautiful! There were basic needs - dishes, pans, toaster, coffee maker, etc - plus paper items like baggies, foil, and such.
This is a no brainer! Perfect place for our needs and surely for yours too!

My family chose to rent this house because it looked spacious and private. It was both! The layout gave everyone his/her own space and bathroom, and the wooded area and private drive added to the cozy feel. The kitchen had everything you’d need for a home away from home. Between morning coffee on the wraparound deck and evenings around the fire pit, we couldn’t have had a better stay. Thank you so much! We hope to return.

We enjoyed our stay at this location. The host was quick to get back with us about any questions. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was well stocked. The host even left a note to welcome us. Almost all of the rooms were clean. There was one bedspread that was dirty. Our biggest disappointment was the lake access. We had brought along a medium sized speed boat and a jet ski. The shared access was too small and shallow to use. Thankfully there was a public access nearby that we could use, but it wasn’t as convenient. Apart from that, the property was a good fit for our family and we enjoyed our time there.

Great Up North Stay!
We were visiting family in the Ludington area and this place was a great location with all the amenities of a household. Lots of space to spread out and cook meals. Super clean and lake access if you choose off the dock just down the way only 3 minute walk. Cleanest rental that we have stayed in. Would recommend.

Great time spent with the family. Each family group had their own level of the house. Plenty of space to spread out. Weather could have been better, but that did not detract from our experience.

There were 4 adults and 5 kids and there was plenty of room for all of us. The upstairs was perfect for my sister and her husband and their 3 kids under the age of 6. It’s not far from Downtown Ludington and Ludington State park. I wish we would have stayed longer!

My family and I stayed here this past weekend and it was great! The house was so clean and it has everything you need and then some! If I could give this more then 5 stars I would. Beautiful home. Super clean. Owners thought of every little detail. There beds were so comfortable and the beddining was amazing. You could def tell they did not skimp buying things for comfort. Absolutely recommend!!!

This home definitely met and exceeded expectations ! It was so comfortable and spacious. Super comfortable bedrooms. Great hang out spaces outside and in the basement. We would love to return!

What a great place for our annual family get-together! Comfortable, king-size beds, bed & bath on each level, super clean, fire pit area, covered deck for the rainy day we had...everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. This property has been recently completely renovated and modernized, and it is beautiful and comfortable. We really do not have any suggestions for improvement - everything you need is there.
The property is wooded, private, and very quiet. Hamlin Lake is just a short hike away. While it is a seven mile drive into Ludington for restaurants and services, this for us was no inconvenience at all.
