Wonderful location with great views of beach, lake and lighthouse!

Overall, everything was great. Sherri was good to communicate with. Waking up to the lake every day was amazing. Close distance to shops & restaurants. Rental was updated & clean. Lots of little extra amenities. However, we have little ones & I would caution any one with babies or toddlers: the gentleman / year round resident in unit #2 below the unit we rented was rude to us our entire visit bc our kids were running around upstairs. After he brought it to our attention, we apologized & assured him we would do everything we could to keep the noise to a minimum & have them walk, not run. And we did just that, but it was never good enough. He continually went out of his way to make us uncomfortable. Then on top of that, one morning when we were getting ready to go to the beach, my husband got our foldable wagon out of the van and placed it on the front porch, then came upstairs to help me carry our 8 month old baby & our toddler down the steps to put them in the wagon. While he was upstairs helping me get them, the lady who lives in unit #1 came out & yelled up at our balcony to get our wagon off her porch. My husband said, no problem I'm coming right now to get it. She then proceded to very loudly say, "ughhh what a nightmare", which was pretty dramatic. The only reason I'm not removing stars from this review is it's not the fault of the owner of the condo, however, they should forewarn people that there are people below who are pretty intolerant of any noise & little kids.

This is the second time my husband, 3.5 year old, and I have stayed at this property and we absolutely love it. We have stayed at many other properties in Grand Haven but this unit exceeds all others. Aside from the fabulous location, which is right across the street from the beach, the second floor desk makes for a beautiful view both day and night. What I appreciate, which I have not experienced at any other home we have rented, are the "extras" (many towels including beach, plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, coffee pods, beverages in the fridge, sand toys, soap, extra sunscreen, and more). I have been able to pack lighter when staying at this unit. Additionally, the property manager did a great job of communicating with us during both of our stays. We love the unit and the easy access to town and the beach. I would not hesitate to rent this unit again, nor should you.

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed in this condo. It’s location is perfect, directly across from Grand Haven state park and wonderful view of the lake. Easy walking distance to the beach, short walk to the boardwalk with restaurants and shopping. We would stay here again in a hearbeat!

Spectacularly clean and well-equipped. Excellent communication. Location can’t be beat. And even though the second bedroom is small, our teenaged girls enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

Great location convenient to the beach and the shops and restaurants downtown. Our family loved it and hope to be back soon.

This was our first visit to Grand Haven, and we truly enjoyed our stay in this condo. The condo was well appointed for arrival and easy to access. It was well cleaned and obviously well maintained. The property manager was communicative and available as needed. The other tenants were friendly, including the year round resident downstairs. Access to the beach is steps away. We enjoyed watching the cars go by, access to the beach, and walks along the pier and river. There are great recommendations in the binder from the rental as well. We would recommend a stay here.

This upper floor condo is one of the best we have stayed at nationwide. From communication with the property manager, to the cleanliness of the condo, to the attention to details with things like bathroom amenities, a full suite of kitchen appliances and utensils, and brochures for area restaurants, we could not have asked for a better stay. We came from out of state, and plan to make this a regular stay for us when we travel to West Michigan.

First let me say that Sherri was very responsive to everything we asked about. Her thoughtfulness in have flowers at the condo, for our anniversary was amazing. We also want to thank her for arranging for us to stay an additional 2 days beyond our contract. The location of the condo was perfect. It is in walking distance to all sorts of activities; the state park and beach right across the street, the lighthouse pier, the river walk, and the downtown restaurants and shops. It is also only a short drive to other desirable areas like Grand Rapids, Ferrysburg and Silver Lake. Perfect! The condo itself was just as it was described and very neat, clean and quiet. It was stocked with many essential, such as kitchen and bathroom items, as well as water and condiments. The book with instructions was very clear and concise, and the food recommendations were excellent. While the condo is on the 2nd floor, and there is no elevator, the access to the condo via stairs was fairly easy. Despite being next to the road, the condo was very quiet at night, making it ideal for sleeping. As soon as we check our schedule and to do lists, we will more than likely be reserving this condo again for next year!!

We loved being so close to the beach and spent a lot of time there! It was fun to watch the changing lake from day to day. The Condo was very clean and well-maintained. It was also extremely well-equipped. We had everything we needed for cooking and having a great time. We enjoyed the sand toys and beach umbrella that were provided. The second bedroom was very small. The living room and kitchen had a spacious open feeling. Overall we had a wonderful week!

Excellent property, location and view

The condo was very clean and airy !! The deck had an amazing view of the sunsets and water !! Some might not like the "evening cruising" cars going by ..... But for us it was awesome seeing the car's and people go by made for a full evening of entertainment !! The neighbors are very warm, welcoming and friendly !! Plus had great tips for eating and things to do !! If it were possible we'd give it 10 out of 10 !! Rent and stay with COMPLETE CONFIDENCE !! You won't regret it for a minute !!

This condo was clean and just as promised. The view is unmatched and the owners were so kind and responsive. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the week. The kitchen was fully stocked, everything was super clean and we felt very at home. Will definitely return!

Property was exactly as described but more importantly the owners/property manager were so nice and easy to work with. They provided all the little extras which is rare these days and it makes a huge difference. Would definitely recommend and would definitely rent there again if our travels bring us out to Lake Michigan!

Very nice & clean condo with good kitchen setup for kids’ meals and porch with lake view across street. Lots of nearby summer activities for kids. We really enjoyed our week there.

This property was about a 5 minute walk through the sand to the water’s edge, and directly across from the concession stand (which was closed) of the state park. Walking up the street behind the condo was like visiting an exclusive neighborhood. Like other reviews have stated, it was a great place to sit on the deck and watch the traffic/people go past. The condo itself was very well appointed and modern. There is a Keurig! The bathroom was pretty small but it served its purpose. There is a coin operated washer and dryer on the bottom level of the building. We had a great time.

Quaint beachy experience overlooking Lake Michigan and Grand Have beach. Residence was well maintained, clean and decorated very well. Location was perfect, just a few steps from beach and a short walk or bike ride to town.

This condo is a great place to spend time at the beach. My family of 5 with 3 teenage daughters had a great time. The only drawback to it was it only has 1 bathroom, but we knew that going in and it was not a big deal. Sherri was great and the condo is updated, beautifully finished, and clean! The balcony is an excellent spot for people watching and for sunsets.

Beautiful view of Lake Michigan from second story living room & master bed. Very clean & well stocked with necessities & extras. Two-minute walk to beach. Twenty-minute walk to shops/restaurants on Washington St. Perfect rental in Grand Haven.

The Pump House was a great way to end an evening with ice cream or cookie dough! We also cooked using fresh food bought at the farmers market in town. There are no bad days here. Even when the weather took a turn, we saw amazing waves on lake Michigan as it turned from calm to an ocean like view. We were surprised to see surfers and wind surfing as well! We had a great time in Grand Haven and used this condo as the base of it. Convenient to downtown and across the street from the beach. The condo was clean, up to date and loaded with the small amenities that topped off the experience. We probably will be back in two summers.

We loved our stay in Dawn and Jim's condo. It was just as described, perfectly clean, well stocked, and the location cannot be beat! We will definitely be back!

The place was very clean, nice and you could not find a better location or better views from the deck. Dawn and Jim were fantastic to deal with. If you're staying in Grand Haven, this should be the spot!

This VRBO was perfect for our family and we loved the location. The beach is directly across the street and we loved watching the sunset over the pier while swimming in Lake Michigan each evening. We went on fishing charters out of Chinook Pier and caught lots of salmon and lake trout. We hiked the dunes in local parks and shopped in the adorable Grand Haven shops. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the beach. Thanks to Jim and Dawn for a fantastic place to stay during our vacation!
