not really satisfied with the clean of the place other than that everything good

There was plenty of room. Not enough parking for that many families though. Upgrade’s are needed to the floor in the dining area, and some of the chairs need fixing. Other than that, a few more chairs in the upstairs area would have been nice. Overall we had a great time and my mother had a great birthday. Thank you very much. Dan

Overall, our stay was just OK. The property needs some touch ups on the floors and more done during the cleaning process. A couple of the chairs at the table & a barstool was loose at the legs. When it comes to cleanliness there were little roaches & spider webs in the corner so I would say that would need more attention. The house was big enough for family, we had 16 people. The mosquitos were HORRIBLE!! Please bring bug spray. There’s security that rides by the house every night. The kitchen was fully stocked with essentials. The place was about 20min from attractions. Communication with the host went well. Thanks.

The house was very nice. 1 bedroom and bathroom is downstairs. That was a neat area for the kids to stay. 1 bedroom that has the deck stays very hot, there is no AC vent and no curtains or blinds on the door with the window so it was very hot and bright. That was the only complaint we had. The house had everything you needed. Maybe bring a couple extra fans.

It’s fun

What a great get away. Very spacious for the amount of family that stayed with us that weekend. Very clean, great decor and had pretty much everything we needed. Very close to a beach access and plenty of places near by for any extras we needed. Loved the whole experience at this location. Our dogs had an enclosed area that was a great size for the them. I would love to come back and stay again. Thanks for making it a great stay.

We were prepared to go and stay during Spring Break, and when we arrived, we noticed there was paint missing from the walls, the kitchen counter was split, there was mold and terrible workmanship in the bathrooms, and the downstairs bedroom was moldy and stale. Absolutely unacceptable. We offered to pay for one night, which we could not use and we did not stay. Now the owner is making us fight with VRBO and our credit card company to get our money back. DO NOT STAY HERE. IT IS AN AWFUL, SMELLY HOUSE WITH MOLD, THE OWNER DOES NOT CARE ABOUT RENTERS, IT IS A HUGE MISTAKE.

This house was well equipped with everything you will need! It had basic supplies TP, dish and laundry detergent, etc. There was plenty of space and beds for our group of 14. House was close to the public beach access.

We had a blast. Easy access to the beach. FULLY stocked kitchen. Very comfy beds. We had plenty of room for 10 adults and 4 children. Thanks for a beautiful stay!

We were a party of 13 and was adequate in sleeping Accommodations. Units is large enough to allows us to enjoy the Sunday afternoon football game. Too bad the bears lost to the packers.

UNFORTUATELY WE EVACUATED FOR IDA BUT STAY AGAIN IF NEEDED FOR VACATION

Clean, nicely decorated home with drive up beach access nearby. Beds and furniture were comfortable. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with pots and plenty of dishware and utensils. One minor item of note is that the downstairs apartment is only connected to the upstairs via an outside staircase so, if you had planned to lodge children downstairs, just be mindful there is no indoor access. It was an a problem for us as we were mostly adults. Our teens enjoyed the downstairs area for movie watching. I am extremely impressed with the response time from management prior to check in when I had questions and also when we had an issue with the microwave during the stay. The maintenance personnel came out that same day and, since he was there, I mentioned that the air conditioner seemed to struggle to cool down the space. I think the temperature was around 79 or 80 in a couple of rooms but we kind of accepted it as it is August. It had no trouble cooling down overnight but struggled by early afternoon. Whether the maintenance guy was just a rockstar with initiative or whether management empowered him to make decisions or a combination of the two, we were out for a couple of hours and returned to a brand new microwave and two window units that significantly cooled the house down and made it comfortable the rest of the stay. I really can’t say enough about the communication and response time shown. I also appreciated that clean up was easy - take trash out, put towels in bathrooms and start the dishwasher. I would 10/10 stay here again.

This house was exactly as pictured with an extra cool surprise with the separate lower level. Clean and beautiful! Hit all the notes!

5 Stars! It was a great trip, great home, and great time spent with family. The beach was quiet, a short walk from the house, and the neighbors were friendly. We look forward to returning next summer!

Excellent

Lovely home in a great community. Pool and beach both walking distance, couldn't ask for more. The kids loved having their own space downstairs, just as comfortable as the main level. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch and dinners. The patio downstairs was relaxing as well.

The house was perfect. Great down stairs area for a second family or teens. The beds are bunks but our dogs and us stayed so they could go out easy and it was perfect. The upstairs was so nice and the rooms were so well set up! Only thing I would suggest is to bring your own Little blow up pool or something Bc the main pool is a drive and wasn’t the easiest to find Bc I had NO cell service lol. Beach was great and close. Store was close. The house tho , my gosh again perfection. We had 3 separate families with kids and it was soooo amazing for us. We will be back! Neighbors were friendly. Only issue was a dog across the street attacked a few dogs and so we didn’t feel safe walking our pups. But this wasn’t the home owners issue. Just know the across the street has a dog that will attack if loose. Somethings to remember BUG SPRAY! there are bugs in the house Bc it’s the beach duh so please don’t fault the owner. But everything else was great. Thank you for having us.

I want going again!!!

We stayed over the weekend and had a great time at the property. There was plenty of space, everything was clean, there were comfortable amenities, and it was easy to get in touch with the owner. The property is right on the beach and next to so many fun things you can do in Galveston. Russell was very accommodating and made sure we had a great stay.

Family vacay with the kids and some friends. Absolutely loved this house, and can't say enough about Jamaica Beach. What a gem. We will be back!
