Loved our 5 night stay! 9 of us ladies got together and really enjoyed the property and location. Vacasa responded great to the issues we had with the cleanliness. The beach was an absolute treat to just walk out! Will come back someday

The outdoor space is wonderful and perfect location. Always have a perfect view of the beach during all meals.

From the moment we arrived we knew we had selected the perfect vacation spot. The house was spacious; clean and just what we needed for 4 families with little ones. The beach access was perfect. The outside shower was a blessing to keep the sand at the surf. The kitchen had every appliance and utensil we needed. The beds were comfortable. We even enjoyed every deck; hammock(s) and the fire pit. Before the week was over everyone wanted to know when we were returning.

We rented this house for a week for my extended family and everyone had a great time. Made great use of the firepit, outdoor bar/grill area, upper deck, and of course great access to the beach. The two bedroom areas downstairs have private entrances which was convenient. Cleaning crews came during the week to clean the exterior and take garbage containers to/from the street. Already booked again for next summer.

We had a large party, so the extra kitchen spaces were great. Kitchens were well stocked. The outdoor spaces were wonderful. We loved the fire pit and the outdoor bar. Proximity to the beach was wonderful. Folly Beach is never crowded, so we pretty much had this beach space in front of the house to ourselves. The house was very clean, but still felt homey. It was comfortable and lived in. Some of our guests noted that the upstairs showers were cold. I think that management would have taken care of it sooner as they known. I wasn't aware until the end of our stay. The showers downstairs were warm. My favorite shower would be outdoor shower. It was very clean, one of the best al fresco shower spaces I have ever used. There were lots of linens, towels and changes of bed sheets. So many that they took up all of the storage spaces. There is very little space for clothing storage at the downstairs units. Overall we love the house

We celebrated a 70th birthday and the birth of our grandson. Beautiful weather on Folly Beach and the absolute best location for beach time, swimming and relaxing. There is plenty of room for family members with the 2 apartments below and the huge deck looking out to the ocean. This place has a wonderful Folly Beach Vibe to it with everything colorful and nothing too fancy!

Our extended family had a great time at Funky Folly! Perfect beach cottage. While not large it fit out 11 folks just fine. The 2 small apartments on the lower level gave families room to spread out. The beach was right there making it very easy to run back and forth, no hauling loads of stuff…. Weather was perfect and so was our stay.

We have been coming to Folly beach for many years with our kids who are now 20, 18, and 15 and meet another family whose kids are 23,22,20, and 18. This house was absolutely perfect for a vacation with older kids. The 2 sets of parents stayed upstairs in the main house with the youngest girls (15 and 18). The others stayed downstairs and basically had their own place- but was just downstairs from us. The outdoor bar and lower deck area provided entertainment for us every evening without worrying about where the 20 somethings were until late at night. It was absolutely a blast!! The upstairs house has been newly updated and was perfectly comfortable for us to prepare meals for everyone and play games when we had a little rain. Highly recommend this gem. We'll definitely be back!!

After paying that much for a beach house you would expect to have basic necessities like toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags. And everytime we stay with vacasa there's an issue with the key codes. Customer service helped us get the right codes but it's a little frustrating after a long drive to not be able to access the house. Besides that everything was perfect. We love using Vacasa for our vacations. We stayed in another vacasa beach house just a block over from this one a couple years ago and it's always a great experience. We'll definitely use Vacasa again and highly recommend this house for your family vacation!

Very nice house that would be perfect for a bachelor party or something like that. Direct beach access is a huge asset, and Folly is a neat little town. We used the house for a family vacation and it was good, though not ideal for young kids. Anything other than that, and you'll be happy. The common area in the main house is a little smaller than I would have guessed, but still good.

Upstairs was fine with miner issues view was great. Downstairs you could not pay me to sleep there with the smell. My teenagers didn’t even like it however they had no choice.

We had a great time at Funky Folly! We rented the whole house and it was plenty of space for our family. Our last day at the beach was very windy, so we hung out on the deck all day. There was plenty of space and the bulk head/dunes blocked a lot of the wind. The only downside was no ocean views from the main bedrooms.

Our stay at Funky Folly on Folly Beach was just what we needed. We had everything we needed... it was perfect. The decor is so fun and beachy. Our days started with the most beautiful sunrises and walks on the beach to jumping in the waves and “walking on water” the sandbars. Love the peace and quiet of the beach but having the option of fun restaurants to go to just over a mile away. We loved walking the beach to downtown... golf carts or bikes are available for rent but we opted to walk. If you enjoy walking or running their is 6 miles of beach and runnable roads right from the beach house. Super safe location... I love to run so that is always a big deal for me. if planning to eat out make sure you plan ahead... there was often an one-two hour wait... having the grill at the beach house was nice to grill out ( great meat at Harris Teeter) and pizza delivery from Fam’s Brewery was perfect if you want to stay put ... Bert’s Market has any last minute needs just a mile away. We did surf lessons with Carolina Salt Surf Lessons with Kyle Busey. Highly recommend, he is such a great human being and teacher. We met him on the beach just 2 miles east of us... so great!!! Charleston close by... we visited for the day but honestly loved coming back to our quiet abode. We just couldn’t get enough of our days at Funky Folly!!!! Thank You!!!
