Not so much didn't like but would be inconvenient during a downpour is having to get out of the car to open and close the gate. Not so bad when the weather is fine but would be different when it's cold and wet

Very clean & comfortable with great views. Veronique, Coco and Loki are very friendly. I would stay here again when I have to be in WHANGAREI; is only a 15 minute drive into WHANGAREI but I rather stay in peaceful country setting than in a run of the mill hotel.

All good for me - if I had a long term stay I would like a very comfortable chair to sit inside & outside.

Beautiful room and space, lovely views and very comfortable. I didn’t realise it was attached to the main house - not an issue but nice to know in advance of booking. We left some shoes there and the host posted them for us, thanks very much for this!!

Aircon wasn’t working and I got back too late to ask the host about it. It was quite a hot night. Some communication breakdown around the early check in I asked for, sorted out in the end but a little stressful on the day of a wedding we were attending, driving straight there from Auckland so being unsure if we could check in first or not.

Couldn’t get the air conditioner to work, but we’re able to cool the room down with fans and opening windows. We didn’t ask for help from the hosts as we arrived late.

VIEWS TO UNWIND is located well off state highway 1, up in the hills with a spectacular view to Whangarei Heads ad the sea. It’s a beautiful location and the rooms are exceptionally well appointed and comfortable. You have everything you need for a comfortable /memorable stay

It was extremely clean and tidy, we loved the view and the facilities were amazing. Our hosts were very helpful throughout our stay and we would highly recommend this to anyone.

Location not the best for exploring general Whangārei area, but would be great if you wanted to explore south (Ruakaka/ Waipu).

The bed was lovely, so comfy. View is absolutely amazing. Clean & tidy. Puppy was adorable. Hosts were really friendly & accommodating. Would highly recommend A++

Excellent location, stunning views! Very accommodating with our late check-in. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Friendly reception on arrival - even Coco the beautiful dog greeted us with a warm welcome.
