This was our first extended getaway in 10 years and the house was perfect

Very relaxing stay. Wonderful location.

Great location. Two suggestions 1) Mattress in sofa bed should be replaced. It is very uncomfortable. 2) Stairs are dangerously steep and need needs either a center railing or a rope center guide down the middle (which could give the steps a quaint, nautical look.) All in all, it was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

House was perfect for our getaway in Newport. The house was charming and clean with a nice porch and private yard. Great quiet neighborhood in Middletown, spacious driveway for parking. Thoroughly enjoyed! Would love to return!

Wonderful stay, the beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, living room and deck area had comfy furniture. Very clean. Lots of hot water, and clean towels. Location is in walking distance of restaurants. Nice quiet neighborhood. I could live here :)

This home was very cute with a wonderful little backyard, which is perfect if you bring a dog. The one bathroom downstairs was a bit of a challenge for us, as was the steep staircase, but we managed it fine. The pullout couch was very uncomfortable and not really practical to use. Suggest bringing a mattress topper if you intend to use it. Overall our stay was very nice. I would recommend it for no more than 4 people.

We had a wonderful stay. Cottage was very charming and comfortable. We loved the deck and private yard. It was so quaint with all the flowers. Our pup was also very happy here. The location is wonderful. Short drive to Second Beach, which we really appreciated and also nice evening walk to Clementine’s ice-cream.. multiple times. Thank you for the stay!

I have nothing but good things to say about the managers of this property. They were so communicative and responsive to our requests. The house is very charming and well located. We stayed with our 6 year old daughter and she really enjoyed the beautiful garden. Close to beaches and attractions in Newport, very well located.

This smaller house worked very well for me and an adult daughter. The street and neighborhood are quiet and the deck is very private due to plantings. Plenty of offstreet parking. The location is an easy ten minutes from downtown Newport or the mansions. And also about ten minutes to beaches. The stairs are steep, something for anyone with mobility issues to consider but I’m 71 and did fine. I’m summary, it’s a good no frills home base for people who want to explore the Newport area

We have stayed in this home twice and love the house and the property!

Lovely cottage in location convenient to all. Off season stay allowed our dog to enjoy the beaches& fenced in yard a big plus.. Might want to have more local information available to help orient first time visitors (like us). The stairs to second floor quite steep, but doable.

Property was EXACTLY as described (even the steepness of the steps - no joke!), clean, well equipped, fast responses to any questions asked, easy to Uber to/from Newport. Would suggest one or two more blankets for "just in case a cold wind blows through" times otherwise a great staying experience I would repeat.

House was well kept and maintained and easily accessible to local beaches and downtown. Stairs were very steep to 2nd floor and would of been better If there had been a bathroom on the second floor

We had a wonderful time, if you have dogs I would bring a long lead for the yard. Our 2 pups got out, one twice, and I was outside with them always. Once the gate was open and another time through somehow by the steps for the coral door. I found him leisurely walking down Draper. We set up the leashes after that and it was wonderful.

This was such a great place to stay for a short family getaway. It is so easy to get to downtown Newport (about an 8 minute drive) while being quaint and quiet as well. Our daughters loved the backyard and the quiet street to ride their bikes on. It was clean and cozy.

Was in town for a marathon. Everything was within walking distance, but location was on a quieter road, which made hanging in the backyard very relaxing.

We had a lovely stay! The owner was prompt with her responses. Everything is how it looks in the pictures. I agree with others who commented the yard is not fenced in enough that dogs can’t get out. Mine got out 3 times, and he’s not one to try! We were there for a week and a half and the kitchen had everything we needed. Close to beach and restaurants. 10/10 would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay on a cold January weekend. This home was cozy and warm with a perfect location in a quaint New England neighborhood. Great location and a short distance to center of Newport. I would recommend this property for your your next stay.

We came to Rhode Island for a girls weekend. The rental property was very nice and close to everything. The host was very quick to respond to questions. We had a great weekend.

Very nice property, everything was very clean. Loved that we could bring our dog! Other thing that was a minor inconvenience was that we have a small dog and he could have escaped through the wire fence in the backyard. We just had to keep him on a leash. Great experience overall 😁😁

We spent a lovely family Thanksgiving weekend at this adorable little place. The home is exceptionally clean and has everything you need for a comfortable get away. The kitchen is very easy to cook in. We cooked lobster, stuffies and made a soup with ease. The stairs are indeed steep and the bathroom is on the main level off the kitchen which is a bit odd, but we felt it added to the charm and fun of the house. It is a home built in the 30’s after all! The backyard is lovely and reminiscent of an English garden. The furnishings are beach/cottage chic. Linens and towels were fresh and clean. We couldn’t have asked for more. The owner was very responsive and pleasant to work with. She promptly answered all our questions. Our family had a great time here and we would recommend this property to all!

Fabulous weekend getaway for me and my husband! Very quaint and charming ~ really gave us the New England feel we were looking for. Well cared for and met our expectations and more! Property matched the listing, was clean and well equipped for our long weekend stay. Would highly recommend this property to family and friends looking for a comfortable stay close to it all!

Very clean and cute place on quite street

Wonderful home and as described in the listing. I found the house to be even lovelier in person and the decor/updates were great! Was a great place to stay to explore both Middletown and Newport. The beach was a 15-20 minute walk, but a quick drive to first and second beach. Owners were great and very accommodating. Would stay again!

We enjoyed the place and the area which was close to some amazing sites and ocean cliffs. It was great that the rental had a fenced area so we could have our puppy with us.

My daughter and I very much enjoyed our stay at this charming house. It was in a quiet area of Middletown but was close to everything. The property manager Liz was so helpful when we had a minor issue with a remote control for the TV. She came over and fixed it immediately. The house had absolutely everything we needed and was comfortable. The bed was VERY comfortable and had quality linens. One note is there are VERY steep stairs going up to the 2 bedrooms which might be difficult on small children or older people. Also, wish there was a bathroom upstairs but we made do. I would 100 percent rent again.

Cute summer cottage, nicely decorated, had everything we needed. Loved the country lane we discovered to get down to Second Beach. A bit over a mile but beautiful and added a little more exercise to our day. Not having to deal with beach parking...priceless! The a/c units in the house were great when we needed them. So nice being only a short ride into town.

Every thing was very nice the only thing I would have liked a second bathroom or even half bath upstairs.

No issues whatsoever the owners were easy and quick to contact. Would stay again
