Very hospitable owner.

Basic bedroom no shampoo or soap. Train next door, blows horns starting at 4:30 each morning. Nowhere to eat dinner in half a mile zone. Egg, rice and frijoles every morning. No fruit, no milk products

Unfortunately, my stay in Cartago was very short as I just needed to stay one night. However, it was worth it. I loved the place and the people. The breakfast was amazing; I felt like home, having it at a family table, surrounded by beautiful people and amazing conversations. I would definitely recommend it and will stay here again, if the future brings me back to Cartago. Thank you so much to Damaris (what a lovely human being!). Wish you all the best. Damaris is very nice and the house is typical costarricense. Breakfast is super good, and you share the table with other guests. The garden is so beautiful and peaceful.

Very expensive for the place that it is. Location is on the edge of the city and the parking is not owned by the property so they need to be in contact with that person. It took a while for them to open the door to us.

Very clean and the breakfast was very good, good wifi and close to the center. the staff were very helpful and nice.

Lovely gardens, staff, beautiful house, quiet part of the city but centrally located, kitchenette was very useful, my bicycle was safe there, nice views of the mountains on the street outside

Property was very pretty.

They couldn't find my reservation at first, even though I had made more than a month prior. The property was not marked and was very hard to find; had asked several people on the streets and had never heard of it. Finally an older gentleman knew of the place and he walked me there.

The host was so thoughtful, kind and lovely ! The location is perfect for a stop after a long drive. She recommand us some aera to see around, and her english is fantastic ! Thank you :)

Nothing, it was amazing!

Everything was great! The room was clean and we felt very comfortable. The breakfast is very delicious. The host is super friendly all the time and you can ask everything! We can recommend it for everybody. Such a lovely place. Thank you!!

At first I was surprised that this seemed like more of a homestay, but the hosts were excellent. It was a comfortable small room, breakfast was great and it was a very convenient short stay here before I headed to Irazu.
