Very cute and quaint. Wonderful location…we had a rental car but walked everywhere.
Honestly everything was great minus a couple slight inconveniences. It could be improved to be able to have access to thermostat. The thermostat was locked and it was very cold the first night and then very hot the next night. Definitely recommend booking an upstairs room or a room without a room above you….there were children above our room #3. You could hear them yelling and jumping from the bed to the floor and running from midnight until 8am.

This was a great find. A comfortable alternative to large hotels and overpriced Airbnbs. This was perfectly located in Munjoy where it was easy to access the eastern prom and downtown. We enjoyed great coffee on the courtyard patio in the morning. The only regret is we kept missing the times the observatory was open, which is directly next door.

The room was large very clean and comfortable. Quiet and dark at night. Nice bedding and dinnerware

I liked being able to check in with no problems and the room was lovely and had everything we needed. Coffee was delicious

It was so clean, modern, felt luxurious, and was absolutely lovely!! The management communicated all the details I needed for my stay and were very gracious. The location was perfect… restaurants and shops within walking distance.

The room was clean, but very small. I loved the coffee pot and coffee provided. Melody was a lovely host. The outdoor seating area was beautiful and an enjoyable place to rest.
I have no idea what the containers were in the shower. None marked and none soaped up. Also no soap provided by the sink or in the shower.

The courtyard was very pleasant. The location for taking a walk was great. Although, to get into the downtown is a little strenuous. On a hill, not for people who don't walk. All the amenities were top notch. Coffee, shampoo s and the like

We had a charming, lovely stay at the Best Bower this past weekend. The property grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed tucking into our little oasis on Congress St. The room we had was plenty of space, filled with the amenities of a hotel room, and the finishes in the bathroom were spectacular! The beds were comfortable, the room was cool, the noise was low, and the location can't be beat – steps from the Eastern Prom and many great bars and restaurants. I especially loved the little courtyard for having coffee and enjoying the summer breeze.
It is an old building, so there was some slight noise from other guests walking around or voices from visitors to the lighthouse, but nothing that affected our stay.

The facility was beautifully conceived, designed and executed. The proprietors were delightfully kind and engaging in addition to running an outstanding guest house and speedily trouble shooting any questions or potential bugs.
