The staff was extremely friendly and polite and helpful. The driver drove us places we needed to get to downtown that was very nice.

The parking spaces stink, they are way too small for the average car today. We cracked the mirror on our car backing out of a space. Now we have to pay the rental company.

We had the 11th floor bayside and the view was spectacular. When we opened the door and saw the beautiful view we were in awe

Corners in bathroom could have been cleaner. No toilet paper holder in room. Just a roll sitting on the toilet tank. Elevators are very dirty.

The hotel was nice, the room was big. The housekeeping staff super kind and nice. It is very sad that the complete lack of customer service at the reception influenced our staying so badly.

I am honestly disappointed by two things, which are the main reason of this very low score in my review: 1) breakfast policy: Breakfast is included... But only for two people. We were three people, we paid a room for three people, our reservation said that breakfast was included.. And then we found out it was only for two people because of "Holiday Inn policy" So if the third person wanted to have breakfast, he needed to pay. This is not what "breakfast included" means. 2) The staff at the reception was not even trying to help. I have talked to three different people to have some information about public transport, bus schedule, close cities to go to. The answer was always "oh I don't know. I am not sure" The icing on the cake was the last person I spoke to, this is the answer I received when asking for some information "well, I don't know. I would have to Google it to find the answer. So you can do it by yourself" Seriously? Is this the service at the reception of a hotel? I understand that it is not possible to know everything, but it would have been appreciated some kind of support. If I choose a hotel over an Airbnb, it is also to receive this kind of assistance (as it happened in all the other hotels I have been staying In the USA and in the world) I am sorry but I can't give you a good review when this kind of customer service is provided.

The pool did not meet expectations. Could not use th e rails because they were very loose. Pool water was not clean (clumps of hair and hair ties). Could've been lit a little better.

Many restaurants are walking distance but about 8 to 10 min to Old Port area. Standard 2 queen bed room & amenities. Go to Tandem for breakfast (drive) - very good quality

$15 self car parking but the parking spaces are extremely tight and not well marked due to which many spaces are "wasted". High prices for the weekend even though it was only very early June. Old Port is walking distance but not located in Old Port area. Street parking in Portland seems to be worse than NYC (where sometimes street parking is available), east side of the city is the worst

This is a very nice property located very central to Portland. You won't be disappointed with either.

Parking is an issue in Portland so wasn't too surprised to find that we would have to pay to park in the hotel's onsite ramp. Cheaper than big city parking so I guess I shouldn't grouse. There is an onsite restaurant which has good food - but it isn't cheap and generally breakfast is not included.

We liked the convenience of the location, the room was clean, comfortable and the room shade kept the room dark. The beds were comfy and overall quieter than I expected.

The bathroom exhaust fan ran all night, There was no way to shut it off. Thankfully with the bathroom door shut it wasn't too loud. I informed the hotel the next morning and they did give me a small credit and explained the reason

The parking garage was horrible!! It was Time consuming to ring bell and wait for staff to press gate button from INSIDE to open OUTSIDE gate to leave parking garage! Plus, small parking spaces and my car was scratched by another car!
