Who could complain about a beachfront room? The location was perfect. We parked our car and never needed it again. When we weren't on the beach, we walked throughout the downtown area.

The studio did not have an extra blanket, and the night was chilly. Since my daughter and her family were in another unit, I took an extra from there.

No air conditioner, it was extremely hot! No wifi, just 2 tiny shampoo tubes for 10 days, nobody even ask about cleaning, changing towels, etc.

The room had no airflow. It was hot and miserable. The one box fan helped some. The patio door screen was stuck. It was difficult to open and close. It fell off the track several times as well. Vacasa staff was notified. They said they would send someone over. We stayed 8 days and no one came by. The smoke alarm went off our last evening there. Again, we contacted Vacasa after hours. They said they didn’t have anyone to help us. That we should take the batteries out. It isn’t even possible. The lithium batterie is NOT removable. The alarm stayed on the entire time under blankets. It was still going off at our check out the next morning.

The location was great actually perfect. The shower curtain was gross but when I let them know they changed it. The place is old and the bathroom needs to be redone but it was clean. It’s a beach location and it would have been nice if there was an umbrella

The booking started with the cost of $915, with the side bar of an additional $260 for taxes. That was fine, then I booked my airline tickets went to complete my hotel booking and there were $700 in fees ending up costing some $1680. You should be honest from the start about how much it actually is going to cost. I was very disappointed with booking.com for covering that up until the end of your booking. I’ll probably never use them again. Other agencies like Expedia have all your fees upfront and included when you first see the listings
