We had a great time. The view is amazing and the cottage is very clean and well equipped.

Overlook Cottage is quaint & cozy, but very modernized. Loved the filtered water option for sustainability and use of our water bottles. Favorite for our family: utilizing the screened in porch & deck and waking up to each morning to a gorgeous centered view of Penobscot Bay, meandering the rocky shore, or ending the night with a view of a million stars. Pamela & family provide many staple amenities and easy access to a local farmers coop or grocery store in Belfast. Our local contact, Donna, was wonderful and efficient to help with a small tech issue. We hope to return to Overlook Cottage time and time again. Great base camp for all adventures in any direction! Thank you for sharing this lovely cottage for our summer family holiday!

First trip to Maine (visiting from Atlanta). Home was as described, clean and modern and had everything we needed. Quick walk right down to the beach where the kids could walk every night, swim, look for crabs, seals, etc. About a 8 min drive to downtown Belfast, and 90 min ride to Acadia national park. Definitely was relaxing and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time staying in this exceptional home. Property had all of the things we needed for the week, and even the things we didn’t know we needed! We traveled with our young kids and this home with accommodating. Pamela was a welcoming and responsive host. 10/10 and we will look forward to coming back to this home in years to come!!

This was our second year here and we will go back next year. The property is immaculate and well sized. The location is perfect. The view of the bay from the screened porch and open deck is worth the price of admission.

We had the best time staying in Belfast at Pamela’s cottage. It’s the perfect size and immaculately maintained and beautifully decorated. Kitchen & bath were stocked with everything you need. Screen porch was the perfect place to work and to hang out. WiFi was perfect and plenty fast which my husband appreciated since he was working remotely and had several important overseas meetings. We enjoyed combing the beach for shells and rocks and checking the tide pools. Cottage is centrally located and we were able to drop our daughter off at camp in Bangor, visit friends in Damariscotta and even hike in beautiful Acadia! My 15 year old enjoyed scouring the two very good bookstores in town and we enjoyed all the restaurants and shops. Owner was very quick to respond with the few questions I had and everything went very smoothly. Can’t wait to come back soon!

This was a perfect home base for our bucket list trip to maine. It was right in the middle for traveling the coast. Sunsets were the perfect way to end the day! Will highly recommend for a wknd or a week!!! Thanks for the memories Todd & Lori MN

The view is spectacular. We loved sitting on the screened in porch. It is a very quiet area as well. The owners thought of literally everything you could think of made us feel like we were at home. It also is a nice in the middle of other towns. The owner is very responsive as well.

The cottage is precisely as pictured and described, well-stocked with blankets, towels, toiletries and pretty much anything you might require and Pamela, should you need her, was quick to respond to the couple of questions we had. A particularly noteworthy feature for us was the screened-in porch that we enjoyed throughout our stay. Several hours after we departed and nearly 200 miles away we realized that we left something very valuable in the cottage. We immediately contacted Pamela from the road and she coordinated the safe return of our valuables via FedEx. I not only give 5 stars to the cottage but also to Pamela who really works to provide her guests with a top-notch experience... and she succeeds!

It was wonderful. The size was perfect. The cottage itself was immaculate. We loved the screened in porch and the deck. Even though it was in the 90's while we were there, the cottage remained cool and comfortable. We have already booked it for a week next summer.

What a fabulous place!! The cottage was perfect for our family of 4. The view was amazing! We sat on the porch for all our meals. We loved the location and it was a great jumping off point for Acadia National Park and a bunch of adorable seaside towns. The only downside was that we couldn't stay longer. We definitely hope to be back someday!

We had such a lovely, peaceful stay at this oceanview cottage in the sweet town of Belfast. Quiet, clean, well- stocked. We had great views of the ocean, sailboats, some distant 4th of July fireworks. Loved the beach access and screened porch. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. Better stocked than most rentals we've stayed in. Close to amenities and sites of interest. Belfast had cute shops and great food. Enjoyed Young's Lobster Pound. Shout out to their amazing staff! Excellently cooked seafood. Though we should have taken Pamela's advice and brought a couple sides, drinks and wine. ;) midway between Camden and Bar Harbour. Just perfect! We had a beautiful time in this cute little cottage.

This cottage exceeded our expectations in all ways. Beautifully kept, had everything you could possibly need for a stay away. Location was excellent and within 1/2 hour of many attractions. Looking forward to staying again next year.

We had a fun weekend getaway at the Overlook Cottage. Our children (7 and 9) loved exploring the beach and tidal pools. The cottage was very clean with everything we could possibly need for our stay. It was a short drive to Belfast where we enjoyed the shops, ice cream, and the walk along the harbor. We cooked most of our meals at the cottage , but did enjoy one of the many restaurants before we left. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to come back in the near future! The cottage was great! It’s super cute, very clean and well appointed. It was perfect for a quick getaway. The view and location can’t be beat. Being early in the season, the house itself had a beautiful view of the water and was quiet and serene. The location was also very convenient to a variety of attractions, including Belfast, Bangor, and Bar Harbor and a bunch of great, underrated smaller state parks that are very accessible.

This place is amazing. The view is outstanding and the cottage is very clean and organized exactly how you want for a rental. This place has everything you need for your stay and if you need anything then all you have to do is ask. Communication was great with the host. I have already recommended it to a friend and encourage anyone to stay here without hesitation. Check in and out is super easy. Best trip to Maine so far, so relaxing and laid back. We will definitely look for this property again in the future. All surrounding communities have great things to do and eat. Love this place!!!!!

This cottage is accurately described, clean, well-stocked, with friendly hosts and in a great location. We would absolutely stay here again!

The pictures did not do its justice, we were shocked at how nice the cabin was and the location was spot on.

This little cottage was the perfect place for me and my son. Centrally located it was an easy drive to Bar Harbor and Portland ME. We loved the town vibe in Belfast where we went shopping and dining and went antiquing in Searsport. Highly recommend a day trip to Camden as well.

We stayed at this cottage 4 nights and had a wonderful time. It was clean and equipped with everything you could need. The view is beautiful, especially sitting on the screened in porch. We ate every meal out there. The owners were very easy to communicate with. Belfast is a great little town. We would love to stay here again!

Loved the location.

My family and I had such a great week at Overlook Cottage. It was adorable, comfortable and there was easy access to everything in Belfast. Having a beach that we could walk down to at any point was a huge selling point and it didn't disappoint. The tidepooling was great for my 10 year old twins.

We loved our quaint and beautiful cottage. It had everything we needed. So relaxing and peaceful. The host’s were most accommodating. We couldn’t ask for anything more.

Overlook Cottage is well-maintained, nicely decorated, extremely clean and convenient to downtown Belfast and Searsport. The setting is beautiful and quiet. Pamela is responds quickly and is a pleasure to deal with. I’d love to return.

Though small, this place was efficiently outfitted. We especially loved the screened in porch, and ate, and played games there every night. The view of the ocean is great, and there are lots of fun things to do in this area. The owner gave us helpful area suggestions as part of check-in. We would definitely return if we lived closer.
