Great location within walking distance to almost everything especially right across the street from the beach! Family of six were very comfortable for four nights. Second time in three years to stay here on spring break.

This home has it all. It’s simply perfect.

The home is an excellent location close to everything. The parking situation is really great and their are toys and chairs for the beach. The house was really clean. We'll be back for sure!!

We enjoyed our stay! Place could use some items and some items listed in pic on line were not included such as a bbq. Internet didn’t work for 3 days, had a problem with ants all over main level and lower level of house, kitchen needed some basis supplies such as a spatula. Overall we enjoyed our stay. I messaged property manager prior to our arrival as we were traveling from Az about beach equipment such as chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, towels etc because the pic on line showed all that in the garage and we didn’t want to bring all that with us if we didn’t need to, the property messaged me back saying this rental has none of that stuff I messaged again stating it was shown in photos on line and several of the reviews said they had it, still was told no they didn’t have any of that stuff, so we brought all that with us from Az and when we arrived the garage was full of beach equipment so we we’re thankful but wish the person I spoke with actually knew bc I specifically asked about it and was told no so we packed all ours and in fact didn’t need to. Pots and pans were dirty when we got there and went to cook, coffee pot is a little tricky if not put in right it leaks all over counter, sink sprays all over no option for stream just spray, these are some of the things we noticed, but overall enjoyed our time. Thank you

The house is so comfortable with high quality furnishings and the home is well stocked with everything you need. Everything about this house is high class. The location is perfect, at the beach and near the Village. Great decks, a back patio with a gas fireplace, beautiful views, a garage with an extra parking spot, bikes, beach gear, and plenty of towels. I love this place. I can’t wait to come back and stay again.

Our family of 5 absolutely loved this place! We we were headed to San Diego for college visits and a One Republic concert and decided to stay up north where it's safer than downtown and less crowded than La Jolla. Wow.....This was better than even the listing. Bikes, boogie boards, bunkbeds, modern, clean and directly accross from a mile long perfect sandy beach with wonderful waves. It also really is a short walk to all the resaurants and shops in downtown Carlsbad! We would choose this on any trip going back to San Diego.

Dish towels, baggies, coffee pods or grounds, ,laundry detergent and more supples would have been nice to start.

The location is perfect, at the beach within walking distance to the village. The only negative was the amount of steps but we still managed even though we are both in our 80’s, as the entire family of five, (grandma, grandpa, daughter and two young adult grandchildren ) loved it.

My family of 5 stayed here over July 4th week. The townhouse is situated across the street from Tamarack Surf beach in Carlsbad; uncrowded, no rocks, and just a great beach which took about 1 minute to walk to. Lots of fireworks displays too over the holiday! We loved the primary bedroom small balcony located on the top floor which faces the ocean. It was a shame the other large balcony, which faces East, is only accessed thru the primary bedroom so we didn’t use it. The home was as advertised, but needed a better cleaning, as there was sand, some dirty hand towels and a lipstick on the floor in the primary bedroom when we arrived. There are many stairs and this proved only an annoyance for a member of our group who had a broken leg and used crutches. Parking was great with a garage and an extra space. We would definitely return and recommend.

My family hasn't had a real vacation in the last 5 years we were so overdue for some fun. I wish I could give this home 10+ stars, it has everything you need the amazing ocean views and enough room for the whole family. I will start with the communication before I ever checked into the home. The owner contacted me and told me all about the area, and answered all my questions. The check-in was so easy, and I was able to park either in the garage or in the back of the house, as there is no parking on the main street. This 4 story home has beach views for most of the home with a place on the front patio to enjoy dinner outside. I enjoyed having my morning tea on the upstairs balcony and watching the surfers and the beach walkers. The owner has thought of all that you need for your stay, enough beds, that are very comfortable. Everything you could also need for the beach, towels, toys, boards, cooler, games, umbrellas, and a wagon to get it all across the street. We found several good places to eat within walking distance. Make sure you take a stroll down the side streets in the village as there are a lot of different restaurants. We took a walk in the am to see all there was to see and then made a decision for dinner. If you have a taste for fast food there is a Jack in the box and Carl Jr's at the end of the village. We found an EXCELLENT ice cream spot in the village called Handel's. Don't go at night as the line was wrapped around the block. It was our lunch one day and it was fun and well worth it. It was very enjoyable as we have never had ice cream for lunch. If you need groceries, as we cooked some of our meals go to Vons and sign up for the membership and digital coupons for more savings the cookies and brownies from the bakery are the best. Not too far from all attractions San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, and Legoland; we alLaJolla beach and saw seals and sea lions. If you happen to go to LaJolla and you like Mexican food go to Don Carlos Taco Shop the best Mexican food I have ever had. I hope your family enjoys this home as much as we did. Now it will be hard to rent another vacation home as we will always compare it to this one. I don't know when we will be back but we all agreed we want to come back.

So close to the beach! Walkable to the Village. Beautiful home. Comfortable beds. Toys in the attached garage.

Beautiful condo! Perfect location! Garage and toys are awesome! Needs better toiletries ( one ply tp, paper towels, no kleenex) and there are limited kitchen items. No storage bags, foil, etc. Needs more detail to cleanliness, dusty and the walls were kinda dirty. Screens were tore up. Washer makes the whole house smell like mildew and it stinks. Vacasa did offer to clean the unit, I declined because it wasn't imperative at that time. Other than that, it's a really nice space! Very pretty! Views are spectacular! We loved our stay!

Less than 2 hours from Los Angeles, this townhome is absolutely beautiful, extremely clean, and the oceanfront location could not be more perfect! There is a cute beachy town an easy 10 minute walk away where you can find local shops, food, etc., but be warned, you may not be able to leave the profound relaxation you'll quickly settle into after taking in the ocean views from here! The kitchen was fully stocked but we were honestly way too relaxed to even think about cooking! Luckily for us there were plenty of convenient delivery options available on Door Dash and Instacart for all our eating and imbibing needs! We can't wait to come back to this very tranquil place!

This is a lovely home which is just across the street from the beach with no obstruction of your view. The access to the beach is easy and there is an upper walkway along the beach, a lower walkway, and of course the beach. Sunsets were awesome. The town of Carlsbad is close and easy to get to. There are three bedrooms, one on garage floor which sleeps three, one on kitchen floor which sleeps three and the master bedroom on the upper floor. There are two bathrooms one on the kitchen floor and one with the master bedroom. We did fine with four teens and two adults. WI-FI and TV were provided. There are many steps so this home is not for anyone who cannot navigate steps.

We just finished our 10 night stay at the property, much to our regret as we did not want to leave. We have stayed at a number of properties in various parts of the US and Europe and this was by far our favorite place. The location is ideal, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The condo itself lacks for nothing. It was spotlessly clean and all the equipment was working, with modern appliances in the kitchen. The washer and dryer are new and even like to play tunes to you! Having a garage to park the car was an added bonus and there is also an allotted parking spot behind the property. We were there at the end of January and had the fortune to have great weather and did not see any rain.

The property is on Highway 101 and there is a lot of traffic throughout the day but it does quieten down at night. We spent a lot of time on the upstairs balcony watching dogs, birds and surfers. The sunsets were spectacular. We also used the back patio during the evening and lit the fire pit a few times. The garage is kitted out with a lot of equipment including surfboards, bikes and other items that can be used on the beach, which is 3 minutes walk away.

A couple of food recommendations, which are mostly 10 - 15 minutes walk from the property. We like walking so this was our preferred method. For Italian, we went to 264 Fresco which has great pasta and seafood. Gonzo Ramen also is recommended. We like Indian food so we went to Taste of the Himalayas, which is Nepalese and Indian cuisine. We also went to Dini's Bistro a few times for the Happy Hour (Monday - Friday). We only went during the week as it looked crowded at the weekends.

All in all, a great time. We hope to be back later on this year.

The only complaint is that the instructions for entry were poorly written and the code for the keypad was listed as the code for the lockbox and vise versa, which made for a frustrating start to our visit. Similar situation with the WiFi instructions. Overall, a lovely home and we would visit again.

Lovely house. Decorated very nicely. Great view. Master bedroom was a dream. My housemates only complaint was their beds weren’t as comfortable as mine .
