The location was a bit remote but nothing is really remote on San Juan. The house itself was very clean, well-appointed (moreso than other Vrbos we have used). And the views were beautiful from the back deck. The dock was a bit of a walk, but when we stay here again (not if...when) we will bring our kayak to moor there. This was a lovely property and one of the best we have stayed at. Highly recommend it.

We stayed at this lovely spot for 2 nights and 3 days. It was impeccably clean and totally stocked with everything you would need for your stay. The views alone are a reason to stay there. The backdrop you get of the water and all the wildlife ,which come to say hello is breathtaking. We were able to say hello to a sea otter on the dock and good morning to the deer as they passed through the yard. The beds were comfortable as well as all the furniture in the home. If you forget something, no need to worry, the house is so well stocked for your stay, you will most likely find what you need. We would definitely stay there again as we enjoyed our time so much.. You are far away, so the wifi service is slow, but we enjoyed this, as we were there to get away from our phones and spend time together. They had plenty of games for kids and families to enjoy and a grill out back. The back yard at night is great for staring at the stars and enjoying a glass of wine. We also appreciated the owners did not leave a long list of chores for us to complete upon check out. We have a stayed in many places who charge a considerable feel and then ask us to do a list of chores as well. Here, we just needed to take out the trash and put a load in the washer. It was nice to have the owners respect the amount of money they ask for cleaning and not put this on us. The island is small enough that you are close proximity to everywhere. I think from where we stayed to the south end ,it was about 45 minutes. Overall, you can tell the hosts truly care about the people staying there and their comfort level. You can also tell this is a home well loved and cared for by the owners. We will definitely come again. We had such a lovely time. Things to consider ( which didn't bother us, but in case you were wondering): -no full curtains on bedroom windows, which makes for an early rise if the sunlight wakes you up. -loose middle board on the dock, so be mindful if you bring children down to take in the view -check in is not till 4pm

This place is a gem. Perfectly secluded on the tip of San Juan Island, it is quiet, peaceful, and the ever-changing views from the lovely deck are breathtaking. Also, San Juan Property Management was terrific. They even invited us to check in early at no extra charge. The home is updated and well-equipped.

House is not fancy, but certainly adequate for a family vacation on the water. Views/sunsets were fantastic and having a dock made this rental for a celebration on the water perfect.

We loved this place! Great for families with younger kids. There is an awesome loft upstairs that is a great hideout for the kiddos.

It was a welcomed reprieve after a week aboard our classic 1940s sailboat :) The house was great for our group - well stocked, great location, comfortable rooms, and our kids loved the bunk room. The kids also spent evenings running around in the grassy lawn. We didn't do much on shore as we sailed daily, but enjoyed a great running route to the Roche Harbor airport and resort area. Would love to stay here again. For boaters: The dock is in decent condition, mild currents compared to those one can find in the islands, but does get shallow (+/- 8ft) in lower tides. No beach access.
