We stayed at the Sonder Gabriel Richard building and the property is beautiful. We are Lions season ticket holders from Canada and stay in Detroit often during the football season. Sonder properties are always outstanding and the Gabriel Richard building is no different. Very clean, spacious and walking distance to everything you’d want downtown Detroit. The Sonder team are very helpful and responsive when you have questions or concerns. I highly recommend staying at any of the Sonder properties, they are a top shelf group who care about their renters for sure. 5 stars all day, every day. Very easy access and close to everything downtown. Will stay again...

The property was in a great location, and had everything we needed. Great view from the room, easy access and entry, very good size and very comfortable. Bedside tables, sheets, and inside the drawers were a little dirty. The coat hooks and toilet paper holder were falling off the wall, and it was pretty noisy on Friday night. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend to others.

For the price you pay it's a wonderful modern industrial setting,in a tremendous location 5-10 minutes from everything. Clean location easy to access in and out of the entrance. Lots of food close by . Would definitely recommend

Overall great downtown location but property entrance, hallway and elevators could be better maintained for a better inviting experience. All problems that occurred were taken care of amicably.
