This lovely, clean pensiyon was housed in a beautiful old stone building. Ali, the owner, was very sweet and helpful. We ordered a meal on the last day and had the best grilled fish of our trip. Great location too... in the old town, next to ancient roman ruins, close to beach and shops, but a bit quieter than nearby touristy streets.

Scratchy towels, but this is typical of Turkey. I wish there had been tea/coffee making facilties in the room.

The pension is lovely, quiet, extremely well kept, comfortable, delicious breakfast in a gorgeous garden, and ultra clean, located in the heart of "Old Side." One of three beaches in old Side is just one block away. The best sand beach is a 15 minute walk (but it's at least that for all hotels in old Side). The owners love this building as evidenced by how well cared for the property is taken care of. The hospitality is bar none. The owner husband even drove me to the bus stop when I left. The owner wife cleaned the room, made sure I had clean towels, washed my clothes and folded my clothes. This pension is an absolute recommend.

Excellent location! The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The buffet-style breakfast was quite nice. If you are planning to drive, note that you won't be able to park onsite, but can use free parking available outside of the Old City (a 10-15-minute walk).

Some crazy, rowdy, disrespectful Russians who were staying next door and reveling the entire night. I understand that it is not the hosts' fault though.

Do not hesitate to ask Ali for transfer. Chep, convinient, effective transportation.

The big things you want from a hotel/pension were all here and all excellent. The staff were organised and helpful, the rooms were well appointed and charming, and the breakfast was ample and tasty. The location, above all, was tip top, and despite it's centrality, the night times were quiet. The grounds, lush with flora and greenery, were beautiful

Parking is not on-site, but in a nearby Otopark, for around 12 lira. No big deal, it just took me off guard.

Breakfast was okay and location is excellent. The setting is very pleasant with all plants pots and authentic greenery.

Shower facilities were cramped and difficult to use. You have to go back into the shower and toilet area to be able to open the door and exit, while the space in front of the toilet is cramped with only 2inches to the glass shower screen.
