The property was fantastic, clean with everything we needed and in a perfect location

The apartment was spacious and exceeded expectations based on the pictures on the listing, great value for money. The location was excellent, close to several shops and eateries and easy to get to and from airport as well. The check-in process wasn't as smooth as I would've liked but the host had had some problem with another property this was understandable. this is understandable.

The apartment is very well located, close to supermarkets, restaurants and, of course, the beach. It's a fairly new apartment, well equiped and comfortable. Would certainly recommend.

Nice, roomy appartment to stay in Algarve. One of the two beaches nearby is nice. Nice location to visit other attractions in Algarve. Nice place Near restaurants, supermarkets. Constant nice breeze, no need for the air conditioning. The indoor parking space was appreciated. Host was reactive to help us find a worker to help us unlock our appartment that we lock ourself by mistake. Some items to wipe the tables, wash the dishes were missing but the owner brought them on the third day. I would recommend this appartment.

We spent a very comfortable 10.5 weeks here over Christmas, until March. Ideally situated, well kitted out for home cooking etc. We had a problem with the boiler which the apartment manager dealt with quickly and efficiently. We were sorry we had to come home. Until next time …..

I am writing about my experience with the host on the 15th of August 2023. I had previously communicated with the host for a few polite enquiries and had arranged a transport from the airport for the agreed sum of 35 euros. I had flown from London where the flight was delayed by 15 minutes. It was scheduled to arrive at 19:50. It had arrived a little later. I was sitting in the middle of the plane so was amongst the last people to leave the plane. The plane was exiting from both ends. The immigration queue was very long and slow. We had collected our baggage and exited the airport. I had my mobile on flight mode and realised that my data was not coming through. The moment that I had resolved that I saw some messages from the host. I called back at 21.30 to let the host know what had happened. His response was that I had not replied to his earlier messages and he had left. I explained my situation and offered to pay for his cost for the transportation, even though I had done nothing wrong. His response was that he doesn't like me and will now not allow me to stay at the apartment. I had contacted him by phone a number of times explaining that this is a simple misunderstanding. This was my experience with the host. I was abandoned at Faro airport with my young family and 80 year old father without anywhere to stay. This was vile and disgusting behaviour of the host. Avoid this property and host.

We have been to Olhos D’Agua every year for 31 years so know the village well. Chose this apartment to base ourselves for the winter so tried it out for a couple of weeks. Brilliantly kitted out, good TV and Wi-Fi and handy for everything. Looking forward to our 3 month stay.

The property was immaculately clean; we had booked a three week stay. Despite contacting the owner in advance, we had to wait outside for him to arrive. He showed us around the apartment, made repairs to the broken shower then left. On day 2 of our stay we contacted him to let him know that the shutters accessing the balcony had jammed halfway open, he said that he was out of the area and would return the next day to solve the problem - he never showed and we had to put up with it throughout our stay. I contacted him the day before we left to ask how we would return our keys and got no response. Our taxi arrived and I put the keys safely in an external meter cupboard (he had told us that ours was the only set). When we arrived back in England there was a stream of angry and abusive messages (plus two missed voicemails left whilst we were on the plane home) because he couldn't find the keys. I responded telling him exactly where they were whereupon he responded (calmer) informing me that he had found them. We are looking forward to booking an apartment on the same block next year with a different owner.
