A/c a bit challenged for the size room. Although generally interior has been updated beautifully, some of the exterior needs work, rotten post, sidewalks. Overall, quite good.

Loved the location It was modern but still kept the old style building

The building itself has so much character and is in a beautiful neighborhood. Everything was great, from check-in, the comfy bed, the large room, the spa bath and great shower, the fridge in the room, the TV with Netflix already set up with a guest account, the great breakfasts... I could go on with all the other great little details but you can find them out for yourself. The owners are lovely people who gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit PEI.

The only minor issue was the king room with spa bath is right next to the kitchen and dining room, so we could hear the prep for breakfast at around 7:30am. We are early risers anyway but if you like to sleep in, I'd recommend bringing earplugs.

Thé breakfast needs to be upgraded for the price.

Breakfast not very good

A building conceived in 1894 by a wealthy banker with several queen and king sized rooms. The rating of 9.0+ is certainly no joke. The rooms are gorgeous, clean, with wonderful spa tubs in the bathrooms. Located downtown Charlottetown it is easy to locate and close to all restaurants and pubs. A gorgeous walk through the town and on to the waterfront is relaxing and beautiful. WiFi was perfect and you could come and go as you please with entry at any time of day. If you were looking to stay in a quiet bedroom with one of the most comfortable beds you've ever slept in than look no further.

The owners were absolutely charming and wonderful!. Parking is plentiful-on street and off. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious (ask for the omelette-thin layer of egg, red peppers, cheese and perfect!). The location could not be beat. A short walk to Victoria Park as well as to downtown and the waterside. Just the perfect place to stay while in Charlottetown

We stayed on the top floor with our 3 year old. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of space for a family.

We had the spa suite and it was stunning! The whole place was picture perfect and the food was great.

We wanted to cast our movies from our devices to the smart tv but we couldn't make it work. This is a very minor complaint! They had streaming available from several platforms so we had plenty of options after we gave up on our first choice.

Andy and the staff was very helpful. We were late driving from Bar Harbor (Midnight) and Andy waited for us to let us in. He even helped me bring luggage up to my room. In the morning, they serve you breakfast made to order. It was good and consisted of fresh fruit to begin with. A nice surprise was that they served a hot Wonton noodle soup with a side of shrimp dumplings. It was so good, we had it every morning. The facilities were nice and clean and very comfortable.

Beautiful period home close to downtown and the waterfront. High standard of decor and comfort in our spacious king suite. Breakfast was good with adequate choice.

Coffee machine and a microwave in our kitchen would have completed the facilities

The owners were so sweet and attentive. This place is absolutely beautiful and much much better than a big name hotel. Highly recommend.
