Location

I booked this apartment from the 23rd to the 25th January. The apartment is mis- represented in the marketing material on booking.com and falls severely short of the standards of the claims its 5 star rating given at time of booking The stay was purchased as a Xmas gift for my mom and sister. There were issues from the time they arrived 23rd with bedding being ripped and no basics like hand soap being provided or even tea bags , milk ,Items for cleaning were in a poor state stains all over the furniture I advised alex ( property manager)of this immediately and was told It Was going to be rectified on the second day. (Felt it was ignored Was never delt with ) the electric didnt work and they had no hot water or heating we informed Alex of this and still nothing was done after been cold all night and not had any hot water to shower in morning or make tea or coffee this was the final straw then at 3.30pm 24th Alex offered a smaller room to stay in as a temporary fix this was much smaller than my original booked room I feel very disappointed i suggest this rating you provide for this property needs down grading or upgrade the premises immediately would hate for others to go through to same experience as my elderly mother and sister I have attempted to communicate this with Alex and he has not replied to my many calls and msgs then my status on booking .com for this property changed to reflect a no show and all my correspondence via booking .com portal had been deleted Iv had to take this up directly with booking .com who have advised me they will Investigate I would not recommend this property

I loved how clean and organized everything was, central to everything in town!

There wasn’t enough dishwasher tabs, trash bags or towels.

We where moved to royal house apartments due to refurbishment but the place was stunning!

Apartment was in a great location in Chester as it was near bars and restaurants which we were going to as you were staying here for New Year’s Eve. Car parking was great as it was only a five minute walk from the apartment. The apartment was spacious clean and the beds and cushions were really comfortable would highly recommend for a great stay in Chester

Lovely area very pretty apartment. Very clean and everything we needed in the kitchen area. Very close to all the shops. Would definitely stay there again. 😊

Location was great.

No electric on arrival. After waiting in darkness for 20minutes, electric was reset by someone. Faulty kitchen socket blew up my apple £75 charger!! Electric then tripped again and I had to reset myself by going locating spare key to electrical riser in apartment block corridor and reset the mains incomer. Apartment had a funny smell to it, previous occupant obviously been smoking in there. Fridge door pretty much fell off as I opened it. Unable to put ice or food in freezer as was completely solid and needed defrosting.

In a perfect position to visit chester. Very clean and warm. Close to mini supermarket

the aprtment itself was clean and tidy and nicely decorated but small.

The location of the apartment was different to what was sent in conformation, and was opposite a bar so noisy at night. Not great for my daughter. Entry to the aprtment was over complicated and took longer than you would expect. There was no duvet for the sofa bed so had to sleep with just a sheet.

The apartment was brilliant. It was right in the centre of Chester and the décor was lovely.

Only thing we were missing was a full length mirror.

The property was in a good location and really close to the main high st.

Check in was 3pm. We arrived at 3.45pm to find the door ajar and on entering realised the room had not been prepared following the previous guests. There was washing up in the sink, dirty towels on the bed which was also unmade and the mattress was half off the bed. We called the number provided and the lady was very helpful and quickly offered another apartment which was 12 minute walk away. Ordinarily this would not have been a problem but I had my overnight bag and backpack with me with a couple of extra bags from my afternoon of shopping. Thankfully upon arrival at the replacement property I was pleasantly surprised that it was a lovely 1 bed apartment which on hindsight was in a much better location and was a much better layout.

The property was in an ideal location for accessing the city centre as well as Chester Zoo and Cheshire Oaks. The property was clean and well presented.

The hot water in the kitchen was temperamental. Windows are only single glazed, which meant noise from outside was noticeable. Fire alarm went off continuously in the morning.

Brilliant location, nicely decorated and good communication around the booking. The apartment is modern and well presented. We had no issues with the self check in or check out. Parked at Cubbin Street down the road which was easy enough.

No tea or coffee provided, wouldn't describe as 'luxury'. Lacking some extra touches. The sofa and rug needed a deep clean. No Blackout in the bedrooms which was an issue for our young daughter. The heater in the master also didn't work.

The location was just minutes from the restaurants, tourist attractions and multi storey car park. A very spacious and superbly decorated and maintained ground floor apartment with its own front door and a fantastic digital access lock, we felt very safe and secure during our two day visit. Lovely furniture and a very comfortable bed with fresh bedding and calm sleeping space. Small but very functional bathroom, again clean and modern. Particularly effective were the electric wall heaters which were fantastic. All the usual kitchen amenities were to hand, and the layout had been very carefully planned. The support given by the estate management team was excellent, and they were always available. We enjoyed it so much that we are rebooking for next February for three days. An exceptional apartment.

Shower difficult to get the right heat, however great water pressure.

Good central location, easy access from A5. Clear entry instructions. Comfortable bed.

TV was broken, bedroom blind slats were broken, even without that, the light blazed into the bedroom from dawn- could do with blackout curtains. The sofa was so uncomfortable you couldn’t sit on it. Bathroom light/fan was motion activated but the sensor is in the bedroom and has a v short timer so half my shower was in the dark. Gave feedback direct so that things could be resolved for the next guests- but they didn’t acknowledge the message.

Location was excellent, nicely thought our room, if I had to stay somewhere for more than one night, say for work, it would be perfect.

Noise from the street and also upstairs, they could maybe do with some rugs up there to cover movement noise.

The whereabouts of the property was in the city centre.

The cleanliness of the apartment - the cutlery was dirty, crumbs left on the floor so not brushed, rip in the sofa, walls needed painting and the toilet brush was disgusting and had faeces left on it.

Really clean, modern and secure apartment. Great location with a car park at the end of the road. Easy check in details and later check out of 12 which is great! Would stay again!

The apartment was very close to the centre and there was parking close by for a reasonable price. Bed was comfortable and the apartment was clean.

We struggled to initially get into the apartment as the key was stuck fast in the lock. After a few minutes of jiggling the key we managed to get in (this happened every time we entered). There was a bit of a funny smell which we soon realised was coming from the bathroom, not too overpowering but wasn't nice. After we had used the shower the smell got worse and during the night it smelt as if sewage was coming up through the drains! In the morning on entering the bathroom I actually gagged at the stench it had gotten so bad. We got ready as quickly as possible and left. A shame really as otherwise it would have been quite a nice apartment. There were also no tea bags :(
