Very spacious Very clean Good communication with the owner

Great location in Crewe with good links to other places in the country. Spacious bedrooms, though the living/dining area was a bit smaller than expected. Comfortable, clean, good set up in the kitchen, excellent appliances, paved outdoor space at back, good parking. Good light, and quiet neighbourhood.

Would have been useful to have a water jug in the kitchen, some tea towels, and some serving bowls and solid metal serving spoons. Would have liked separate dining and sitting areas, but worked okay. Was comfortable.

Krisztina was an excellent host, was on hand to deal with any issues/questions. The house itself was clean and spacious and very tastefully decorated. Was the perfect place for us to rest during our week of work! Can’t thank you enough!!

Absolutely nothing!

huge house, so much room, everything you could need for home away from home, and private parking at the back of the property enough for 2 vehicles.

Huge and every room was spacious. Lots of room to breathe and relax and work in. It looked like a place that was once a decent B&B. Decorating is to good standard and everything is comfortable that you'd hope to be. Fantastic location for amenities and as city locations go it's a pleasant spot with greenery across the way. Very handy convenience shop two seconds away by foot and bigger stores just minutes away in a car. The house is in very clean condition. One review points out a photo of rotted door frame as an example of the house's state. I would say this is misleading. The part that has rotted is on the inside of a downstairs shower/wet room and may even have been attacked by a dog or two kept in there at some point. Don't be fooled, the place is in great condition.

Despite the listed facilities on booking.com, we had here a dishwasher, but no washing machine! I was here for a week with my wife and kids. I understand why anyone would pick a dishwasher over a washing machine but must be noted. One of my biggest gripes with a home is a kitchen with far too few utensils. This one has such a good set of facilities and a decent oven, but barely much to actually prepare and cook food with. So chilled supermarket pizza and ovenable ready meals it is. Cutlery and drinking receptacles are a tad sparse for such a large place. The living room is small for the space available everywhere else. It would likely be better if the downstairs bedroom was the living room and the living room be left as a dining space, but I understand why this isn't the case.

comfy beds- other than 1 single which was very uneven with head being much lower than the foot of it.

Hadn't been cleaned properly, at all. Month old apples in cupboards. Large piece of cardboard under table with rude words on, clearly from previous renters. Cupboard doors fell on the head of child when first opened. Pictures on the wall are still in plastic package with price tag on -- this shows the level of care generally in this property. Oven trays in cupboards were greasy. Window sills were dirty. handles were missing on windows so you couldn't open them. wasn't enough cups/glasses for 9 people outside of main door the floor was full of cigarette buds -at least 40 General uncleanliness of the property. Only half the amount of towels for the number of people. a bad smell of either dogs or not been aired for a while- we had to by air fresheners, especially one room. Only 1 room had a wardrobe, so had a chest. We spoke to the owner, who preferred us to move rather than write a bad review (and too be fair looked for another property but there wasn't one on a bank holiday, other than one with just as bad reviews) and promised to return a discount of £130, which never arrived.
