I could say some good words for the place but everything was destroyed by the host. So I prefer to say NOTHING.

Let's begin in chronological order: 1) The coffee machine wasn't working. 2) The kettle was very dirty. 3) The kitchen sink drain was clogged. 4) The shower in the bathroom was damaged and this led to a waste of water. 5) The unpleasant smell of cigarettes was everywhere in the apartment. After all of these everything was fine to me because I'm not a picky person. But then I received a Viber message from the host that I need to provide my personal data to him, including my names, my Personal identification number and my ID number. According to the Bulgarian laws, only the police could ask you for such kind of sensitive information. I'm using Booking for so many years, recently I use it at least once a month and that's the first time someone is asking me for such kind of information. Of course, I decided not to give such kind of information to a unknown person. In the same time we had problems with the sink drain in the kitchen and used the rest of the household paper in the apartment to solve them. We also washed some clothes so we used the the last three washing capsules left in the apartment. And my spouse took a few trash bags (in Bulgaria their price is maybe a few cents per bag). One of them we used to put some trash inside and the others we took with us. Or as the host will say, we "stole" them. The next day we left the apartment very early in the morning and I sent a message to the host that I left my personal data in the apartment. After that I received a message that he didn't find my data (of course he won't find it, I'm not a fool!). But in addition, the host also texted me that I have stolen his washing capsules and he will report all of those to Booking. Later, I checked the website and yes, he reported for "damages" and "not following the policies of the place" we stayed. He reported for stolen trash bags, household paper and washing capsules. I have nothing to say.

The keys were easy to get from a lock box outside the property. The property was very well-equipped. The coffee machine was excellent, we had all things necessary regarding cutlery, supplies, sheets, towels, etc. The location was good for our specific needs, though I can't speak about it in general, as I don't know the city and how the area relates to the central parts. The property is air-conditioned so it was very easy to adjust the temperature in each room.

The rooms smelled of cigarettes and we couldn't really get the smell away for the first couple of days. The handle of the hygiene shower was broken, and the shower door was janky. Everything else was fine.

Very clean apartment and as advertised. Comfortable bed, good coffee machine, has a washing machine and nice terrace. Convenient key box which meant that we could check in and out easily. Will definately stay again next time in Ruse.

Pillows could be better and we wish there was blackout curtains.
