Loved staying here. Beautiful location. Hosts were lovely. Beds very comfortable. Very well equipped really don’t need to worry about anything just turn up. Tea coffee milk provided even left us a lovely chocolate cake which we devoured xxx

My stay at Minafon was absolutely fantastic! Richard and Rachelle, the hosts, were amazing. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness throughout our four-night stay. Travelling with a 6-month-old baby meant our schedule was a bit unpredictable, but the hosts graciously accommodated our request to extend our stay by one night at no extra charge. Their kindness and hospitality were truly appreciated. The property itself was conveniently located, just a 10-minute drive from Zip World Forest, where we enjoyed some thrilling activities, and only 15 minutes from the charming town center of Betws-y-Coed, with its delightful cafes, restaurants, and grocery shops. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Richard and Rachelle exceeded all expectations, and I'll definitely choose to stay with them again when I visit Wales in the future. To be honest, there isn't much to dislike about Minafon. If I had to pick something, it would be the narrow spiral staircase. However, I understand that this is typical of older houses constructed in the 1900s, designed to save space. Overall, it wasn't a significant issue and didn't detract from the overall experience

great location, well thought out kitchen and comfy beds

We had a fantastic stay at Minafon. Much more space than how it looked in the pictures. There was a lovely welcome pack on the kitchen table and some logs to have a fire, which we used one evening (very cosy). The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped.Very good location, great for exploring Snowdonia national park and surrounding areas. Thank you we had a wonderful stay.

You do have to park a little down the street, but that was no real problem.

Location great for exploring Snowdonia. The cottage provided everything for a self catering break. Home from home. Lovely cafe 2 miles up the road, bonus.

Staircase was a challenge mostly because we are tall and parking can be difficult at times.

The cottage is beautiful, clean, spacious, well equipped, cosy. Excellent WiFi and a genuine log burner. The kitchen is stocked with essentials meaning you don't have to do much shopping. Nice little garden with friendly neighbours to chat to. Nice local pub. The village of Penmachno is a great base to explore the area. Lovely views of the valleys. The car park is 100m away and easily accessible.
