Easy to locate, and on-street parking easy to arrange (though one pays). Great location - ready access to key areas of the city and to the Hoe. Room was comfortable, bed was extremely comfortable, tea and nibbles appreciated. Hosts were very friendly and helpful (esp advance emails), though I didn't have much free time to chat with them.

Beautifully renovated property just a few minutes walk from The Hoe. Ian & Suzy we’re very friendly and helpful. My room was well equipped and very comfortable. I enjoyed a lovely breakfast on both days. I didn’t get time to take advantage of the crafts and games available, but hope to do so next time

Owners were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was fabulous. Quirky decorations and very cosy. Good mattresses which is always a big like for me.

We were in a twin room at the top of the building and the stairs were a bit of a challenge (no lift), as both my friend and I suffer breathing problems. However we managed and were very happy with our room.

Everything was great; cleanliness, the room and on-suite, breakfast, location and hosts. They indulged us very well.

Nothing to not like

The Craft House is a charming home that husband and wife team, Susie and Ian (please excuse spelling!) have created with design features to compliment the home itself. Lovely wall colors welcome the bricolage that decorates the walls and floors of the house. It is very cozy, and this lovely couple graciously address one's needs. The room itself was cozy, in a sweet corner of the hall, lending windows that look out in two directions for a nice view and fresh air. Access to the wonderful path leadng to the city center is a moment's walk away. And access to the ferries is also easy. I recommend this lovely guest hotel and commend the owners for their efforts to create a gracious stay for their clients.

This is a personal preference. I was satisfied for what was provided, given the cost of the room.

Very friendly staff, very helpful and thoughtful. Love the rustic vibes of the place. The rooms looked and smelt clean, well presented, and nice refreshments section in the rooms. Meeting the owners dog always a plus!
