Strange man (Devon Pantene) who Vacasa confirmed does not work for the company, came up to my mother and I as we sat out on the deck extremely aggressively shouting in my face telling me that the company tried to call and text me multiple times throughout the day because we had dogs with us (A Police K9 and a psychiatric service dog). Several times I asked this man to calm down as we recieved no calls or texts. Andrea, the manager at Vacasa then confirmed that they did not attempt to call or text multiple times, but that we were left 1 voicemail an hour earlier (Allegedly, customer service told her they tried to call but there was no phone record on either end of this apparent phone call). Nevertheless, because they apparently left 1 voicemail, they then sent a man who doesn’t work for the company to stand infront of us as we sat outside, shouting at us aggressively, telling us we needed to evacuate immediately because we were being watched on the camera and they saw that we had 2 dogs. After telling Devon both dogs are working dogs/ service dogs he told me it doesn’t matter and that we needed to leave immediately. I then voluntarily told the man what both dogs do, that both dogs have licenses and certs, told him my disability, and that my husband is a police officer and we continuously actively train our K9 for drug and explosive detection wherever we go. Both dogs are highly trained and have gone on flights with us, to hotels with us, to malls etc with us. He said I’m a liar, that I’m not disabled. I asked Vacasa to then call me and Andrea confirmed on the phone that she never told this man to say ANY OF THIS. This man stood infront of me and that called me a liar, that I’m not disabled, and that I need to leave immediately. Andrea confirmed he was to only confirm that there was 2 dogs and that I didn’t need to check out immediately at all (because it’s illegal perhaps?) I told Andrea that the listing should say no pets or service animals.

The location was great and proximity to the local beach/inlet was terrific. Walking distance about 5-10 minutes. The home was very clean. There were beach towels available. No beach chairs.

The beds were not the most comfortable and the pillows were hard and gave my husband and I neck aches. We were the only people that stayed. All the pillows were the same. There should be at least 2 coffee pods to get started the 1st morning you wake up. I didn't notice, or it was not posted on the discription that they do not supply coffee pods. We traveled by plane, got there late due to travel delays, and woke up to no coffee. Also, there is an outdoor grill. Didn't use it as the description didn't mention there was one so we figured they didn't want us to use it.
