Great little spot; room was spacious, really clean, and the hot water was excellent. Also, the lady who runs it was so, so nice and gave us some really great food recommendations!

The room was not very clean and it didn’t look very much like the photos. Also, the woman working there made us pay for coffee ,of a coffee maker that is in the photos of the hotel in the app in the living room of the hotel ,telling us it was private of a man living there 10 years. She didn’t infom us when we got there not to use it even tho she did a very long briefing for what to do/not do in and out of the hotel. Generally, in all the hostels/hotels we went , there was coffee so we couldn’t have imagined. Unluckily for us it was our last day and we had very little money and she took all of it, not much but still.

For the price you pay this is exceptional. The room was large, tv, fridge etc. Staff were helpful and friendly. Showers clean with hot water. Great area for site seeing and near all transport.

Noisy neighbours which isn't hotels fault but no soundproofing. Area outside a bit rundown.

it’s cheap and the room was quite big, wifi works really good

the bad was hard as a rock, the staff was really annoying and not helpful at all (I asked for extra toilet paper and she first refused it)

Basic room that was fantastic value for money. I would stay here a again, and would recommend the property to other budget travellers. The staff when above and beyond to help me!

Just be aware that the location should be accessed by taxi late at night if you have lots of expensive luggage.

The staff was very friendly. The location was close to the major atractions of the city. It was real cheap and the room was great, good bed, a nice couch, lots of space.

The staff was nice even though they don't speak any English. The place is not perfect but I mean for this price... It's good enough.

They could improve the cleaning. Probably not the best area. They also rent the rooms for hours so there's a lot of noise... :D

Super nice staff, very helpful and accommodating. Nice to have a big private bedroom for such a cheap price in the centre of San Jose. Also good hot showers and powerful wi-fi. Recommended for a short stay in SJ.

The bed was not very comfortable and the building in general would need a renovation. Also there were stains in the bed linen. Nothing else to say.

Perfect location for the bus station to penas blancas. Staff was super attentive. Comfy bed.

There was a lot of dust in my room, but as I only stayed one night I didn’t really care. I wouldn’t have stayed longer though because of that.
