Adorable updated decor with lots of cabin/lake themes. Designer-quality linens on beds, nice modern kitchen with Keurig and all the cooking supplies you could need! Nice huge fridge and floor space to set coolers and bags. Roomy dining area and living room (we had 3 adults, 3 kids ages eight, six and four). 2 people could crash on the sofa if needed. Kids enjoyed trying the foosball table, and they loved going upstairs to their little bed spaces, and the backyard space to play in, esp the round swing and bucket swing. We all loved sitting around the firepit at night, snuggled in blankets (it was chilly). Much appreciated the few toys in the liv room for the kids. The second deck was useful and the party lights fun and made backyard safe to use at night. Owner/contact was very helpful and responsive to our every need, esp in how to use the ac/heating "splits" on the walls, and our wasp issue. Ceiling fans helped keep temps more comfy. Lots of scrub-oak and trees around property gave it a nice country, private feel.

Bathroom is tiny and challenging for six people; in need of towel hooks, better shelving, a GFCI outlet, and an adult-height mirror. Door scrapes the vanity when you enter, challenging for the kids. Need more detailed instructions on how to use the wall "splits" for a/c or heat, and we fiddled a lot with them to get comfortable, but finally got it on 2nd night. Front deck and stair railing rickety and had wasps issue, so we didn't use it. Downstairs bedrm needs a bench or folding luggage rack. Internet connection slow at best, so live tv viewing wasn't possible (buffered constantly) Outside stone paths quite uneven so I had to avoid them due to unsteady mobility on my part.
