The location was excellent and we could walk to the Celtic Manor from there. The beds in the twin room were really comfy, the linens and the towels were excellent quality. Nice walks nearby too. One room has an ensuite which was not mentioned in the listing, neither was the downstairs toilet, so this was a bonus. Aside the below mentioned areas, the house was really clean.

Mattress in single bed was really uncomfortable and my colleague didn't sleep well. Temperature on water was set so high, the water was scolding and made taps dangerous - glad we did not have children with us. Sofa in front room is broken and that, and the chairs were ridiculously uncomfortable. Pool table, although not an advertised feature, should be thrown and the space used for something else. It is beyond broken, and this was mentioned in a previous review. Kitchen equipment is stingy, just enough per person. Dirty in corners of kitchen. Bar to entrance of kitchen broken and a trip hazard. No hairdryer on first night so I slept with wet hair (replacement delivered the next day). Eaves to outside of house are broken and Jackdaws have been nests in them that make an absolute racket. At least the house is noticeable as you approach for the first time - its the one covered in cobwebs.

There was dog poo and recycling scattered on the front lawn, It smelt of cigarette smoke inside the house, the garden was unusable with broken furniture, cigarette butts and rubbish, the beds were uncomfortable and some unusable due to springs being very prominent.

Stayed Christmas eve to boxing Day 2023 to meet family. the good.... Close to M4. A lot of towels. Good wifi

No number on the house so difficult to find at night. Couldn't get any TV channels. No aerial. No instruction manuals for any of the appliances/gadgets. Unable to turn radiators off as most handles broken. No idea how to turn boiler off so it was like a sauna overnight. The walls in the bedrooms, bathroom and living room are heavily scuffed. Snooker table too big for room, warped in the middle and badly stained. Water pressure very low in bathroom. Shower rubbish. But the worst thing was how grimey the kitchen was. The oven was disgusting and the hob had a thick layer of grease on it. The oven trays were rusty. Dishwasher had an inch of grimey water at the bottom. Counters all sticky. To take a £90 cleaning fee is outrageous as clearly no one had cleaned since the last renters had left.

The water pressure in the family bathroom is very low.

the environment is very quite and pleasant. it had everything I needed .
