The hotel is amazing, the room was super comfortable, the staff were awesome and the location was perfect. One of the best hotels I've stayed in a while.

Free hotel wifi could be better. In these days, paid wifi is not an option, especially for people who travel and work at the same time. In a hotel like this, excellent free wifi is expected.

Just a suggestion: If two guests stay in one room, it would be nice for each to have a soap pill and a soap tray.

This property is palatial and full of amenities, right in the middle of Casco Viejo. You can stay a whole weekend exploring the hotel's offerings or walk right out the front door to access some of Panama City's top restaurants and bars that are just steps away.

We stayed two separate nights, divided by an overnight excursion. The first night was wonderful as we received the room we booked, overlooking the pool. But the second night was an absolute disaster. Despite stopping by earlier in the day to access our stored bags, our room wasn't ready until two hours after check-in time. We were only given one drink voucher each to compensate for this delay even though they charge $75 for early check in. Also, despite requesting the same room upon our departure the first night, we weren't even given the same type of room on our second night. We were instead "upgraded" to a room that had no view, though we paid extra for a view. Only after complaining were we moved to a different, somewhat better room, but it was still significantly worse than the room we had paid for. The front desk staff said they would talk to the manager to find a resolution, but then took no action. They had the gall to ask how our stay was upon check out and then simply shrugged their shoulders when we told them we weren't satisfied. There are much better, less overpriced properties to stay in Casco than this one.
