Property better than pics! Soooo peaceful and quiet. Absolutely perfect property for couples getaway in charming home. My wife and I lacked for nothing. Greg is definitely a “super host”…and a gentleman as well! Top marks in all categories for a quiet couples retreat!

Greg was a wonderful host. When something went wrong, he responded immediately with a solution to the problem. Sleeping arrangements should be considered as sometimes, depending on ages and relationships, beds need to be assigned appropriately. We had one male almost 13 and two girls ages 15 for part of our stay.

Very nice property with amazing sauna. We enjoyed the canoe and kayak, and jumping in the river after saunas.

The cottage was very clean and beautiful. It is the perfect spot for a small group of friends or family to enjoy the long weekend.

The cottage is stunning and luxurious. Exactly as advertised and more. Swam off the dock and paddled the river to falls every day. Rainy days in the Muskoka room are what it was designed for. Loved the days we spent there making happy family memories. Hope to spend time there again in the future. Thank you Greg and Kathleen for a wonderful vacation.

My honest review. (Not picky, just honest) Greg was absolutely a gentleman and a gracious host. He greeted us, showed where everything was and left us his number for any questions. Inside is small-ish for 2 adults and 4 kids BUT it was clean and organized. Air conditioning worked beautifully and IF you needed TV/Internet, it was fast. The dock area was nice and the river was picture perfect. As a landscape guru, I could appreciate the hard and soft scape around the whole property. Negatives (hardly any) - Pictures showed a ladder leading up to a loft area but we were told we couldn’t access it and the ladder was taken down…. My son was bummed out because of that. - There’s not a lot of places to go inside for privacy/separation BUT again, it’s not a bad place to be stuck. - Not a lot to do if you get “cabin fever” so we made the drive into town a couple times. I would absolutely recommend this place for a couple with 2 kids OR it’s great if you just want to get away from the city.

We loved the property and would stay here again. Very quiet and peaceful. This was our 1st time renting a cottage and we were pleasantly surprised with all the amenities that were provided. We 2 people had a fantastic time. The cottage is well stocked with everything needed including toys for kids, etc. We had a canoe, kayak, paddle board, wood for evening fire. Choice of being in the sun or the shade on both the dock and the deck. The spectacular views, very attentive host, made for a relaxing and enjoyable our days. The cottage itself is beautiful, immaculate, and charming, made all the more special by the craftsmanship and detail in its design. Such special memories. I am Still speechless. Thank you Greg.

We had amazing experience. The house and property are fantastic , our family enjoyed every minute of our stay. Hosts gave very clear instructions and house was well equipped and clean. Firing up the Sauna was easy and plunging in the river right after was delightful!

Our recent stay was nothing short of extraordinary - it truly sets a new benchmark for all our future travel accommodations. From the indigenous art on the walls to the books piled in each room, you can expect to feel welcomed into a home, not just a house. The property, thoughtfully designed, doesn't vie for attention with the surrounding environment but rather, integrates seamlessly into the landscape. It was as if we were living with the land, not just on it, and this feeling of closeness enhanced the sense of peace and relaxation we found here. The privacy we enjoyed was highly appreciated and we were so grateful our dog, Duke, could be included. He had an absolute blast, loving his newfound freedom, swimming and napping to his heart's content. He was living his best life! Greg's stellar hospitality truly stood out. His prompt responses and insightful suggestions, like the recommendation to bike to the falls, made our experience all the more enjoyable. Our time here was exceptional and we can't wait to return as soon as possible. Thank you Greg for setting a new standard in hospitality - we truly couldn't have asked for anything more.

We rented this cottage for a small getaway for our family over my sons birthday. When we arrived, it was exactly as the pictures showed- beautiful! The weekend weather was sunny, cloudy and rainy all in one - that’s May for ya! We had plenty to do with canoeing, roasting marshmallows, playing games, watching movies and a couple of cat-naps! Popped out to Bracebridge to pick up some birthday treats with only a 15-20 minute drive. The location is far enough away to feel like a getaway, but close enough when you need something. Greg was extremely helpful with answering any questions I had (or my husband had) and the cottage was perfect! Everything you could possibly need and more. Even the little extras you may have forgotten, it’s there! We had such a great time, I am def coming back!!! Thanks Greg!!

This was our family's second time renting this amazing cottage and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Lots of places to explore nearby, clear and star filled skies at night, and a good amount of snow to enjoy! Greg, the host, was a gracious and attentive as ever. We definitely recommend a getaway here and hope to be back!

We had such a fun weekend away! It was a wild weather weekend where we enjoyed snow and then 20 degrees. The cottage accommodated whatever Mother Nature had in store. When there was snow we cuddled up by the fire and then warmed up in the wood burning sauna. The kids were even brave enough to jump the water after the sauna! When it warmed up we were off to explore the river in canoes and kayaks. It was beautiful. The cottage has everything we needed and was clean and cozy. Greg was very helpful and quick to answer all of our questions. We recommend this beautiful property to anyone that wants to getaway! Thank you Greg!!

Our stay was amazing. The fall colors with the water view was unforgettable. The property is very clean, modern and well equipped. We were a little bit concerned about the chilly weather. However, we had no issues at all with heating. The floor heating in the washroom and kitchen was especially nice in the morning. Overall, I definitely would recommend - particularly in the fall!

A wonderfully designed building on a scenic river view in full fall colours with walking available in the forest. Abundant opportunity for water craft use. Interiour design and implementation was top nothch.

This cottage is amazing! Greg was very kind and accessible. He also responded to all our questions instantly! Greg met up with us and showed us around the property, we even got to meet Harley (biggest sweetheart!) The property is stunning, and it was more magical in person. Everything is neat and tidy, both outside and inside! It felt like home away from home - the peace and quiet is on another level! There are plenty of activities – our party loved the sauna, paddle board, canoe, and kayak! Waking up to the river glistening with the sun beaming through the whole home was breathtaking! The cottage and Greg as a host were absolutely, 10/10 fantastic. Super high quality cottage, beautiful waterfront, all the amenities and a very well organized host. We'll be coming back, highly recommended.

This was a wonderful stay for me and my family. Greg was a fantastic host who was very kind, accessible, and helpful. No detail was overlooked. We all felt totally at home. The cottage is gorgeous and the couches and beds are super comfortable. The setting is private and peaceful. The view out the floor to ceiling windows was awesome and even on the one rainy day, we loved being there every minute. There were few boats going by and mostly just a some people in canoes. The canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding were so fun. The river is wonderful for swimming off the dock. We didn’t use the outdoor sauna but it’s gorgeous and we plan to do that next time. The fire pit by the water was awesome at night. Our dog, a little Havanese, lived her best life for 7 days and it was so fun to have her there with us. The drive to Bracebridge is truly 15 minutes and it’s a gorgeous drive through the country. We loved every minute of our stay and can’t wait to go back! A big thank-you for a perfect stay!

Great spot for someone looking for a private waterfront getaway with lots of options for outdoor activities (biking, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, sauna, bonfires) and close enough access to small town Bracebridge with it's quaint downtown and unique shops. Our host was very hospitable and made us feel welcomed and even had a welcome basket waiting for us at arrival! The home was beautiful and very clean and had all the amenities we needed for the week. We were able to relax and enjoyed our week-long getaway. Would highly recommend!!!

We had the most amazing week on this cottage! It was beautiful and clean and perfect stay for my husband myself and our 14 month old daughter. There was a ton of outdoor space and a great waterfront. Greg was a wonderful host and provided us with everything we could need and was very responsive for all of our questions! We would absolutely stay here again!

It is a beautiful cottage with all the amenities that you could think off (from Barbeques, kayaks, saunas, canoe, internet.. it had everything and more) . Greg was amazing to deal with, he answered all of our inquiries before the check in date promptly. Greg was present when we arrived for check in and gave us a detail tour of the cottage. This property was a perfect spot for our family to enjoy a few days of rest. It's clear a lot of thought was put into the design of the home and the property is ideally placed along a quiet river. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a rental.

The property itself is spectacular, as are the views and surrounding area. The owner, Greg, was very attentive and easy to communicate with. He sent a very detailed information package ahead of time, offered to support us with whatever we needed (we had snowshoeing and food questions!), was there at check in to show us around, checked in midway through the trip, and helped walk us through check out. It is clear a lot of thought and very hard work went into making this property what it is: paradise! We cannot wait to return and look forward to another relaxing time at the cottage, while also further wandering on the lands and water that surround the property. Thank you once again for your thoughtfulness and hospitality, and sharing this part of yourselves with us!

Everything was perfect. From the moment we showed up and were greeted by the owner who took the time to show us the property and how everything functioned, to being prompt with texting us back when we had questions. The property is nothing short of absolutely stunning. During our stay the weather was cold but we never felt the dips in temperature as the central air and fireplace kept us warm and cozy. I could keep going on on how great our experience was but I would urge anyone looking to rent to see for themselves.

My husband and I spent a long weekend at this modern cottage on the river. As always with online booking we were curious to see the cottage in real life, and wondered if it was as beautiful in person. It actually was more than we were expecting. We felt at home right away, with its modern technologies and comforts. Equipped with wifi and large screen tv so that we could watch our fave shows or movies, or work from home if we wanted to... Yet at the same time, it's tucked away from the city and in a most serene spot. It was a perfect combination of providing all we needed or wanted but also being isolated enough that we could really enjoy nature, and sit outside and observe the most quiet and still night. For star gazers - we had opportunity to see more stars and constellations than we ever have chance to see in the city. But it's less than 20 min drive to town in case you want to go. The cottage, while small and cozy, is very well laid out, open and spacious so you don't feel cramped. We plan on returning with our 3 kids, as there is enough space for everyone. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare and serve our favourite meals (and attention to detail - everything in kitchen is laid out intuitively where you think you'd find it!) We appreciated the fact that the cottage was sustainably built. The cottage was also beautifully decorated. It was not only beautiful to look at but further left us with a feeling of connection to nature. The owners were an absolute delight - extremely gracious and generous in what they provide at the cottage, and very easy to communicate with leading up to and during our stay. We hope to make it a tradition to visit this space again. We can't reccomend this location, this cottage, and these property owners enough!
