The house was spotless and very well stocked and the location was minutes away from everything. Views of the lake were magnificent—even during a brief thunderstorm one evening! The host responded within minutes to any questions we had. Perfect vacation rental.

This property is Beautiful! The back yard is stunning (especially at sunset). The house was very clean and the host provided so many extras and almost everything that you may forget to bring on a trip shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, q-tips, coffee, hot chocolate, board games, movies, ect. She even provided local candies that were left on the kitchen table for us with a welcome note. This host went above and beyond with everything. Our group included three generations of our family and everyone absolutely loved this property.

Great house and view. Enjoyed our time.

We were a group of 8 friends celebrating our 80th birthdays and 60 years in nursing where we all met. This place was as it was pictured on the website. The views of the lake from every room and great sunsets. The air was on in the house when we arrived and the weather was very chilly. CalledJanelle and she immediately raised the temperature and made it very comfortable for us. We had so much fun playing games, visiting the state park and we even took a small trip to New York. We never turned on a TV because there was so much to do. We were even able to sit outside in the sun and enjoy the birds flying around. Place was also very well stocked with towels, coffee, toilet paper and any essentials that you might need. Beds were very comfortable. There are a few suggestions that need some attention. 1. Shower on the first floor has a constant drip. 2. Refrigerator ice machine is frozen solid. Can’t get or use for ice. 3. Just a suggestion but it would be or could be a safety issue. There is no railing on either the front entrance or the back patio area. Elderly women and small children should have something to hold onto in getting up or going down the steps.

Beautiful view and house!

The property was spacious and well equipped for our family. The view of Lake Erie was perfect even with wet weather conditions. Very clean and updated property.

My four friends and I stayed at the house for our first annual book retreat. It was an awesome weekend. The view is incredible. The house and property are clean and well maintained. The neighborhood is quiet and serene. And we absolutely loved the short walk to Chautauqua Park to search for beach glass. The house is gorgeous and we are already planning another weekend for next year at the property.

Loved this house. It made you feel like you were home not just some vacation rental. Loved the coffee bar. It was nice to be able to have more then 1 cup of coffee in the a.m. My only negative was no t.v. in the master bedroom. Unfortunately my hubby likes to watch tv in bed before going to sleep so we used a different bedroom. This house delivered in every other way. Could definitely stay here again. 😁

It was relaxing

Couldn't get enough of this view! We were in and out for a quick weekend for our son's White Coat ceremony so we didnt get to spend as much time as we would have liked in the backyard. Would definitely stay again!

My husband and I wanted a get away to spend time with our children and grandson. The house was very clean, had nice amenities, and the setting was very peaceful with a great view of the lake from every where in the house. It was only a 15 minute drive to Presque Isle but had a small private beach just down the road. I would book again with them.

Wanted a unique home for a birthday weekend for my wife. Dreamy Lake delivered! The view is amazing. Sitting there drinking morning coffee could become a habit! Quiet neighborhood was exactly what we were looking for. House is on the small side but the interior finishes are a perfect 10. Host was amazing to work with. Outstanding restaurant recommendations. We had dinner at Colao’s twice. Can’t go wrong there. Highly recommend Dreamy Lake!

What a beautiful place to relax. Amazing views and peaceful retreat. My family enjoyed everything. Janelle definitely thinks of even the little things needed. We will definitely return.

We enjoyed a perfect stay at this wonderful Lakehouse. Clean and comfortable. The kids would have stayed the whole time at the small beach but there is so much to do in Erie! The towel warmer in the bathroom was an added bonus! The hosts are wonderful with a special gift of a local favorite upon our arrival - makes you feel special!

This property is located right above the water with incredible views. Very peaceful and a short 20 min drive to Presque Isle state park. There is also a small local stone beach within walking distance to enjoy. Very clean home and well appointed.

My close friends and I had a wonderful time at the Dreamy Lake House!! The place was beautiful and had everything we needed!! The welcome card was so sweet and the chocolates were delicious! As our last hurrah before going our separate ways, I’m so glad we decided to stay here!!!

We went for a nice weekend and the house didn’t disappoint

House and yard are in the best shape. The host thought of almost every accommodation one could need and then some.

The house was clean and provided everyday amenities. There are large windows in every room that provided beautiful views of the lake. The description says "fully fenced in yard" which is not a lie as there is a small section in front fenced in. However, the back yard with a 60 ft cliff is not fenced in. The owner/manager was honest about this in the beginning...We were able to keep the kids at a safe distance but just keep this in mind if you want your kids to be able to roam free. We drove through a pretty rough area on our way in that lead to the property which is located at the entrance of a nicer area/neighborhood. The house supplied what we needed for our short stay.

The property was super clean and had the best view. I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Erie to stay here!

Our family enjoyed staying at this beautiful lakeside home. It was clean and well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. We hope to return for future visits.

Easy and as advertised

If you are thinking of traveling to Lake Erie, look no further and book this home! The moment we walked into the lake house, we knew it was such a perfect find. The entire place was spotless. We could not believe how clean and cozy the home was. The view and backyard was incredible. We watched the sunsets every night and didn’t even leave the house because we just loved hanging by the fire and enjoying each others company! Thank you for the memories!

We chose this property to celebrate our moms 60th birthday. The view is amazing and the big yard was perfect for games and sitting out to enjoy the sun. The house itself is beautiful and the windows throughout ensure you’re never missing out on the lake view. Worked great for 8 people, the air mattress they provided is the nicest I’ve ever slept on.

We relaxed in the back yard, while enjoying the sunset. The house was amazing with ample space for our family. Janelle and her husband were very responsive to our questions or any issues that came up. We definitely will stay again!

Beautiful spot and perfect for relaxing and catching up with extended family. The windows to the lake made being in any room serene. Loved the ability to sit outside around the solo stove and enjoy the location and the company. Host is extremely helpful and kind.
