The cabin was just as pictured, everything was well stocked and the decor and furniture was very comfortable. We immediately felt like we were home. We stayed 5 nights. It was such a wonderful time! The loons were on the bay every night. It was so peaceful to sit out back and enjoy the view!

This cottage is comfortable and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is quiet and has a beautiful view to enjoy coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. A well appointed kitchen to cook breakfast or even a lobster dinner. The cottage is a short drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. It’s also a relaxing place to enjoy the evening and a great backyard complete with fire pit and bay view.

The home was well stocked and the property manager was responsive to all questions. We enjoyed the peaceful location and watching the birds along the shore.

Great time in the very cute house on the hill! Beautiful views and everything we needed! We used as our base camp for Acadia National and the additional drive time to be away from the maddening crowd was worth it. Bonnie was an UBER responsive host and we knew if we needed something she would make it happen (but we didn’t since everything was perfect).

This place was fantastic! While it was dark and raining when we arrived, which made finding the correct cottage a little challenging, the location was one with epic views. We used this as a base camp for adventures in Acadia National Park. The accommodations were excellent. Having a gas grill as one of the amenities made for a couple of tasty, fast dinners at home so we could enjoy the view of the bay. I would recommend this cottage to anyone.

Amazing location, the listing doesn’t do the ocean views and sunset justice. Bonnie’s communication and responsiveness was superb. Being from WI we had concerns about Hurricane Fiona’s path, Bonnie’s input turned a possible cancellation into a great family trip.

This location has the benefit of receiving all the late afternoon sun and sunset. We returned each day from hiking the trails and spent the late afternoon on the deck in the sunshine. Quiet and relaxing. Really great after taking the boots off :)

The cottage/cabin was just right for my son and I. View was wonderful. The proprietor was very helpful and very accessible. Secluded but close to a lovely spot and a convenience store! Just about equidistant from Schoodic Point and Acadia/Bar Harbor ... I recommend this spot!

House was super remote and quiet which is just what we wanted. The view was great and the place was really nice to come home to after hiking in the park most days. Really gorgeous sunsets over the water. Hosts were communicative and helpful too!

The place was lovely, spacious, nice deck, grassy space with picnic table, right on the water with a great sunset and stairs down to explore at low tide. No kayaks provided, but they would be good to bring. Nice sitting area with TV and AC, good kitchen, nice shower pressure, with an extra half bath. Bedrooms at opposite sides, with one (without the half bath) able to isolate from the rest of the space if privacy is desired. Great proximity to Ellsworth (10 min) and down to Acadia Park (a little under an hour to Bar Harbor) with good restaurants, major stores, etc. Host was great with communication and very helpful. One of our best stays based on regular home rental use over the past forever years. Book it.

We just had a great relaxing week at this home with a fantastic water view. The location is quiet and private, yet still convenient to many local amenities. The home itself was spotless upon our arrival, and the host was always available to answer any questions quickly. We would definitely visit again.

Our family loved our time at the cottage. The bay views are amazing from shore, deck and family room. Watching the tides roll each day, exploring tidal pools, enjoying the fauna and campfires at night truly created a magical experience for our family. The accommodations get the job done and the amenities (towels. covers, sheets, monocular, reference materials, books, games, appliances, wifi) provided our family everything we needed after a long day of exploring Acadia, Bar Harbor & Downeast Maine. We had a great week and look forward to returning some day in the future!

The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the views of the bay are so peaceful! It is a carefully renovated and enlarged mobile home, and the living areas feel very open and spacious. We loved watching the loons and the lobster boats!

We were about 45 minutes from Acadia National Park, but it is a nice drive there. Ellsworth is a nice small town with good restaurants, and the setting on Taunton Bay was beautiful, especially for the tide movement and the sunsets. Our hosts were very reachable, gracious, generous and helpful in making sure our stay was enjoyable.

Everything was perfect, so quite and serene . location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Sitting out every evening watching the gorgeous sunsets life couldn't get any better!

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this location. Top Drawer!!! All quality amenities, never had to say wish it provided something more we needed. Really felt like home.

We were extremely pleased with this lovely secluded quiet little cottage on Trenton Bay We loved seeing the change of tides and the many seabirds too The cottage is immaculate Very charming inside and has everything you need ! Lovely linens Full kitchen ( no dishwasher) but that’s ok and washer dryer unit which is helpful We loved bring “ away” from the hub hub of Bar Harhor area 35 minute ride into the park was well worth the lovely solitude at the end of the day Schoodic pennisula only 25 minutes away A more peaceful section of Acadia A gem of a find !

The house was just as advertised and extremely clean and well maintained. Kitchen was well stocked. It’s right on the water and has a perfect beach for launching kayaks or canoes.

Absolutely beautiful piece of property with stunning views. First morning we saw amazing wildlife feeding in the early morning light. The home is comfortable, clean and has everything you need. We loved our stay!

Everything was just perfect. Everything we needed was provided. Sitting on the deck in the morning drinking coffee was so relaxing. Although we didn't have time to work a puzzle or play any games, it was nice to have something to do in case we decided not to explore Maine. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay here again if we get back to Maine. Thank you for a great stay.

It has a lovely deck with a grill and table, and on the grass below, a bunch of Adirondack chairs for chilling out and enjoying the view. We even ventured out for a swim right off the stairs.The house itself was very comfortable. It has a nice, open kitchen that was well stocked with all kinds of utensils, appliances and pots and pans as well as cleaning supplies. The living room was nice and airy and we loved the old hi-fi with the “Joe South’s Greatest Hits Vol. 1” album :)Having the bedrooms on opposite sides of the house was really nice for privacy and noise. The provided sheets, pillows and towels were perfect. We also appreciated the laundry detergent and dryer sheets.Communication with Bonnie prior to arrival was simple and easy, and instructions for checkout were equally clear and quick.We loved this place and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an idyllic spot on the water.
