Location is excellent! Close to restaurants, trails, boating tours, grocery store. Kitchen was well equipped with dishes and cooking supplies. Could use more forks and spoons. House needs some cleaning up. Layout was great for a large group. Exterior is quite overgrown - pictures do not indicate this. Lots of chairs in side yard but could use cleaning. Would be nice to have towels for guests. Takes up a lot of room to bring beach, bath, hand and dish towels. Duvet or blanket for beds. Just sheet type cover supplied. Owner responded quickly and had propane tank delivered by early following morning when ran out.

Overall, the property was very good (a very strong 4+ stars, I reserve 5 for the absolute best). The location is beyond awesome, making wandering into the small harbor of Tobermory on a whim an easy decision. It also provides quick access to any manner of boat services to the Islands or Manitoulin. Indoors, the layout is a very nice split level (dining/kitchen/entertainment den and very well lit upper sitting area). The lowest level was generally utility (and a low ceiling), but had a fourth bedroom. The entertainment den sported a remarkable number of movies and shows on disc. The two main bedrooms are good size while the third bunkbed room is a bit tight. While the property did sport a few blemishes, they were generally cosmetic, and everything in the home functioned as needed. Having a working washer/dryer was a large convenience and the kitchen was well equipped. The front yard was nice and open and the overhang made it possible to be outside when it rained. I would note the side yard is a bit limited. Communication with the property owner was prompt and helpful. If we stay near Tobermory again, we will very strongly consider this property again (it would be hard to select another location for the value). It's location is about impossible to beat and the home was very comfortable...

Property is well located with a very good floorplan. However, we were very disappointed to find the house dirty when we arrived. Carpet was not vacuumed and sheets had crumbs or other bits. Some furniture is heavily worn as is the carpet. Photos are not representative of the exterior; bushes are overgrown.

Very nice home in tobermory everything very close by walking distance Nice walk on the dock everything was nice and tidy specially the family room my kids loved it nice and bright was a pleasant stay However There are a few things that need to be looked at 1.No hand soap in washrooms or kitchen 2. The BBQ outside needs fixing the handle is broken from one side and the ignition needs battery change I believe 3. Also the back portion of the house needs a grass and weed trimming Other then that was a great pleasant stay

Owners were great! Came and checked in on the first day to ensure we were settled. Great location in the heart of Tobermory. Comfortable home with everything you need! Would stay again!

This home was in a great location, walking distance to several attractions, restaurant, grocery store and more. There is private parking so no need to search and pay those paying on the street. The house is very large with all amenities and was very clean. The kitchen table is big enough for 8 people. Note that there is no air conditioning but several fans available to us. The owner offers with his partners the kayak rental across the lake for free, which was much appreciated.
