This place is outstanding. I have rented vacation rentals for many years all across the world, and this cabin offers one of the best experiences. The owners are wonderful and their communication is impeccable. The cabin is massive (4800 sqft) with 3 living areas on 3 floors with a total of 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It can easily accommodate several families with a huge bedroom and mezzanine to accommodate all the kids. This cabin has all modern amenities with a pool table and a bar on the lower level. You can enjoy the snow in the winter and cosy up to 4 fireplaces…. Or you can appreciate the cooler weather in the summer (~30F lower than the valley). You can also enjoy the beautiful views from inside or from the decks. You are immersed in the tall ponderosa pines and the view of the Arizona Rim country. The cabin is located in a small and spacious gated community. You have a few restaurants and bars options within less than 5 min (Christopher Creek and Kohl’s Ranch). A wide variety of hiking trails, lakes, and fishing options are minutes away. The cabin is located a short drive from Phoenix Sky Harbor (~1.5 hrs) and 20 minutes from Payson. I would highly recommend this cabin to anybody!

We have a new favorite place to stay in AZ! This house was unreal for all it offers. We loved the location and the fact it’s in a gated community, it has a tucked away feel to it but it’s also a real quick drive into town. It was immaculately kept and definitely has a luxury feel to it but still cozy enough that you feel comfortable relaxing. The kids loved the hiking trails which are accessible from just behind the property. The deck is amazing and we got a lot of use out of the grill. The internet speed was strong and we were able to do everything we needed to online without issues. Bedrooms are quite large and we’re now hooked on the instant hot water! Great communication and clear instructions with the owner. When you take into consideration the location, the indoor/outdoor flow of the house, and amenities I don’t think we’ll be staying anywhere else when we come to the Payson area.
