Overall the property is fairly well maintained. The condo itself could have been a little cleaner in my opinion (hard to see through windows, dust all over the HVAC door, rug in bathroom needed to be washed, and my husband found dirt in the sheets which just shouldn't happen if they were changed before our arrival.) There were two coolers and a pair of water shoes left outside the front door of the condo that no one ever claimed while we were there so not sure who those belonged to but just messy. The shower handle was very loose and kept coming off. The space inside the condo was good for our family except the small kitchen was tough to fit more than 1-2 people. The oceanfront view was very nice. 3rd floor was great except for the elevator being the only one in the complex that we could find (and was hot and slow.) They do provide grocery carts for you to help unload and load your vehicles. The location is perfect for anyone who wants to be super close to restaurants, shops, and the pier. However, realize this comes with a lot of traffic and people all over the beach. More people, more trash and folks doing things they probably shouldn't be doing in a family/pubic environment. I am sure others would appreaciate it more than us who typically prefer the least amount of neighbors. We chose a condo so we didn't hold this against the property, knowing we would not have the same amount of privacy found usually when renting a home. Overall we had a nice vacation.

Great location and property!

My family and I had an amazing time at Folly Beach. The property and accommodations were outstanding. We spent 4 days on the beach, and broke up the week with day trips to Charleston, Savannah, and Myrtle Beach. It was so relaxing to walk to dinner every night, and wake up to the ocean every morning. Schem Creek was also only about 25 minutes away and we saw dolphins, a manatee, and some beautiful boats as we walked the boardwalk in the harbor. You can not go wrong with this property and location!

My sisters and I had not all been together since 2018. We wanted a place that would be comfortable with plenty of beds and bathrooms for the five of us and was also within walking distance of restaurants and not too far from Historic Charleston. We achieved all of our goals and had wonderful stay at Folly Beach. The view of the ocean from the condo was spectacular!

Stayed here with our family and friends for our wedding. We loved it!

We had adequate space for our group of six adults and one four year old. The condo was clean, comfortable and perfect for our needs. It was easy access to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We especially over the oceanfront view with our own private deck overlooking the water. Drinking coffee at sunrise and a glass of wine at sunset was an added joy! We loved our time at Folly Beach and our condo!

My family and I had a great time at this condo for a week. The condo was clean, spacious, and just really enjoyed it. We did a lot of sight seeing in Charleston, but we loved being on the beach. My kids had fun in the waves and on the sand. And nothing beats hearing the ocean at night and meals on the balcony. Location was great for Folly Beach; walkable to the restaurants and shops.

Loved the condo, only disappointment, pools not open.

Excellent view and location, walking distance to restaurants and shops. Very spacious rooms, clean, comfortable. An important change that needs to be listed is that there is no longer a jetted tub, it has been replaced with a Huge walk in shower, Which is very nice but we were looking forward to the jetted tub. Key fobs were left on counter to get you into the pool & the beach, which we could not get to work. We talked to other residents in the building and they had the same problem. So I don't believe this is the owner's issue but the condo association/head needs to get these fixed. It was just a further walk for us to get to the beach. The other reason for not giving it 5 stars is the communication with owner. I kept looking for passcodes to come to get through gate and to door to condo. I thought they must have been waiting until check in time at 4 o'clock and we still did not have a code to get in. Those of us that flew in and took an Uber to get there were literally standing outside waiting to get in I had to get ahold of the condo building manager,luckily caught them before 5:00 p.m. when they closed or we wouldn't have had a place to stay. They were able to get ahold of the owner. The 1st code we were given still did not work then we're given another code and finally got in. It's an absolutely beautiful place Just as pictured Would love to stay here again as long as I hear that the communication and the key fob situation gets fixed. The condo was very nice with cute decor. Very centrally located to beach and shops. Would definitely stay here again.

The Villa was clean. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. Was wishing the glass doors were better to see out of. Would definitely stay there again!

The condo was beautiful, clean and spacious. Plenty of room for 7 ladies celebrating a birthday on Folly Beach near Charleston, SC. It was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable vacation. It was steps from the beach and local restaurants and shopping. Balcony views were incredible with rockers snd high top table. Thank you Betty for sharing your beautiful condo with us!

Folly Beach is a gem!! Everything was within walking distance to our condo and our condo was great!!!! It was clean, well stocked, and spacious for 8 adults and one toddler. Betty was absolutely the best. She was easy to get ahold of and I felt 100% sure that she would make sure things were perfect. My only complaint was the garbage pile-up on the condo property. It piled up all week and stunk!!! They need to collect the trash more often. In spite of the trash issue, we will definitely return to Folly Beach and the Charleston Oceanfront Villas.

Great location. Walking distance to everything. New appliances and updated bathrooms. Beds extremely comfortable. Owner is great and quick to respond to any questions. Our family would definitely stay again.

Would highly recommend this condo,very clean,had everything we needed,beachfront with wonderful sunrise/sunset views,easy walking to restaurants etc. and elevator and shopping carts made moving in and out super easy.Last but not least the owner Betty Beard is an exceptional and extremely helpful host.Will definitely make a return visit.

This property was perfect for our group. The beds & furniture were very comfortable. Each room had wonderful decor. The balcony was very roomy with nice furniture to enjoy sitting & watching the waves. We will definitely consider this property again.

It was great. Our only problem was that we weren't aware that Fred Holland Realty had relocated, and we had to call the owner for directions to it.

It was great view looking out over the beach/ocean. The condo was very clean and met all our expectations.

We loved staying in this condo! It was lovely, with many recent updates. Betty, the owner, was quick to respond to any questions we had. She even called to check on us and give us advice before a tropical storm passed by. I highly recommend this owner and condo for any family looking for an outstanding vacation spot!

Well equipped condo with plenty of room for a family of 7. Easy access to the beach and town. Great view from large balcony. Betty was very accessible for our questions. Condo was sanitized with Covid in mind and the condo complex made every effort to set up reasonable parameters. If only the rest of the tourists were that cooperative....

The property was nice. There were 5 of us in a 4 bedroom and we had ample space. Views were beautiful. Kitchen was well equipped. We only got one door key with 5 adults so that was a challenge. I contacted the rental office as well as the owner and neither one responded back to me.

Our family basically had a great time at this property as it was nice and beachfront . However, there were some drawbacks that the property owner should address or that renters should be aware of. We were only supplied with two keys for a group of five adults and two children. This would have been okay, except you have to use the key to get in the property gate with a car, go onto or back from the beach, and get into the pools. This was definitely a draw back and an inconvenience, as our family had 3 cars, coming from different areas; and if my husband wanted to go somewhere in the car, and my daughter or son wanted to go somewhere else, then the rest were left with no easy way to get on and off the beach except walking all the way around the property fence. We had to pay for an additional parking pass but there seemed to be no option to get an additional key. My contact with the owner was limited, but I would suggest that she contact the renters the week before their check-in to ensure that they have everything they need or address any questions that they have. I was concerned when I did not hear from the owner/property manager when it was time for our vacation, and had not realized that information had been sent to me two months earlier when I made my final payment. I also had some questions concerning what was available on the property such as grills and games, as we have stayed in resort type condos before and they had those type of things. Although I received a short response with the check-in information, my questions concerning the property seemed to irritate the owner and she did not totally address them. Overall, it is a nice condo with plenty of room, a nice beachfront view, and the pools.

This condo was super close to the beach allowing for great dolphin and pelican watching from the balcony. The flat beach access made it easy for our elderly family members to get to and from the sand. We enjoyed both swimming pools. It would have been nice to have more than 2 key fobs because we had enough adults going in different directions to make coordination difficult at times.

Overall this was a great condo at an excellent location on Folly Beach. Everything was as described, except there were some updates to kitchen which was pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend this unit to families looking for a nice unit at a great place on the beach.

Beach front and one-block from everything. Best equipped condo we have ever stayed at. Great balcony furniture. Great decor. Betty even called our first night to be sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely rent this unit again and will recommend it to all my friends.
