I stayed with my family & friends for a week and will not consider renting this property again. Some of the issues: --The enclosed porch wasn't cleaned prior to our visit and was covered in a thick layer of pollen that made it unusable to us. --There was no communication whatsoever from the property manager about planned maintenance. Example: workmen showed up at 7 PM to stain the deck, which was both intrusive and inconvenient (and prevented us from opening windows or screen doors due to the smell). We complained to Vacasa who assured us that no further maintenance would be done without prior communication, but various work teams arrived throughout the week regardless. --There was no functioning deck furniture. The little furniture that was near the deck was either filthy, broken or both. --Much of the interior furniture and lighting was broken. Examples: living room couch, living room chair, chairs in the guest house, all wall sconces in the dining area. --The property as a whole wasn't completely cleaned before our arrival. We walked through multiple spiderwebs inside on our initial tour of the home. --Central AC was very hard to figure out how to use. Once we did find it and turn it on, it took over 24 hours to cool the house down, which was not enjoyable during a heat wave. The property has an incredible view and is close to Edgartown. However, due to the many issues listed above, my family will not consider renting this house again.

Great house, great view. But the house needs much cleaning and updating. Smells like smoke from the fireplace.

The property is lovely and the view is stunning. The house and guest cabin are spacious.

The house is in a perfect location in Edgartown. 3 bedrooms and full bathrooms in the main house and 2 bedrooms and full bathrooms in the guest house. The guest house also has a little sitting area. The house is on Eel Pond in a quiet and calm area of town. It’s about a 3 minute bike ride to town making it a perfect location. The house itself is large and rambling and happy on a giant piece of beautiful property. It could be a great location for a family gathering. The interior could use some love but given it’s a beach house it was really fine by us. We would all love to return!!

Overall it was great but a couple of maintenance things really needed to be taken care of. Toilet in master bedroom, the seat was coming apart and the rug in room with twin beds was curling up at the edges very badly and was hotter than rest of house.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home. It was incredibly accommodating, with gorgeous art, a wondrous location that is right on the water, and plenty of space and light. Both the main house and carriage house are very clean, and have everything you might need for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Marthas Vineyard. Highly recommended!
