We had an absolurely amazing two weeks. Marina was wonderful, and apartment better than advertised. I would recommend this to anyone. Location was perfect, Lucca is easy and fun to navigate, and everything about the rental, including the afternoon music in the square and rooftop drinks were amazing. Wish we could’ve stayed for a month!! Thank you Mark.

We really had no idea how amazing this property was until Marina took us for the tour. The tour kept getting better and better and then we started our climb up to the tower! Bellissimo!! My Italian friend came one day to visit and she couldn’t believe the location- she said this is right in the heart of Lucca to which I replied- wait until I take you up and you see it!! Marina was really a pleasure! The only bad things I could say is that it’s a bit of a trek taking the bags from the car or train to the apartment so pack light and listen to Marina when she tells you the easier route because Via Fillungo is beautiful but it’s all cobblestone so we’re glad we found the back way. Once you get settled, you’ll have plenty of time to explore all of the beautiful city. The views are absolutely stunning. Breathtaking. Priceless!! I miss being there already!

Perfect location within the walls of Lucca.. Easy access to walking the 2.6 mile wall with views of mountains.Right In the middle of shopping and dining area. Great size for 7 people. Plenty of kitchen equipment if dining in. Close to train station. Cinque Terre, Pisa,Florence the beach at Viareggio,Venice and Rome are trips we made while there. Manager was very easy to contact and accommodating for all our needs. One small glitch,air conditioning was out for two hot days but quickly repaired. Wonderful experience and absolutely would stay there again. Don’t miss Cafe Santa Zita.🇮🇹

The apartment is close to any kind of shop you may need--from wine to prosciutto to gelato. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living areas are spacious. We never tired of the 2.4 mil walk on the wall surrounding the city-- especially during sunset. If you like opera, a daily recital of arias (mostly Puccini) consisting of two singers and a piano is easily doable. The tower on top of the apart was ideal for happy hour, with a fantastic view of the city, the wall, and gorgeous sunsets. Wine-tasting in the hills above the city and hiking in the mountains north of the city provide opportunities for those who enjoy walking and mountain scenery. Marina was very willing to help us out when needed. And so much more....A wonderful stay.

The apartment is in a great neighborhood. It is very clean, large and has lovely views. Host Marina is very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

The flat provided a warm and welcoming place from which we based our daily adventures. With great living space, terraces on which to enjoy the rising and setting sun, a fully-stocked kitchen, central location to shops, we’ll definitely be wanting to reserve more time at Mark’s flat in Lucca! We loved stating at our own private palace complete with amazing 360 degree views from our own roof top tower. Only down side was we didn't stay longer to relax in the many sitting rooms and balconies. The location was perfect and we absolutely loved Lucca. The host was very helpful. Beds were comfy and the kids loved having their own bedrooms for the first time on our tour of Italy. The price was great too. This house is awesome for families or for multiple families or even a girls getaway. Don't hesitate, just book it!

Marc was very helpful prior to the trip. We had a couple of conversations by phone. The apartment exceeded expectations. The rooftop vistas, size, and perfect location made for the perfect Luca HQ

My family of 6 (2 couples and 2 singles) thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Ideal location, with a great neighborhood cafe just next door and everything you need close by. The host and on-site manager were extremely helpful with great communication and recommendations, down to the chef who came to the house for cooking lessons - a highlight of our trip though the view from the top deck could be the tie. Would stay here again!

We stayed for a week. The apartment is great. The space worked great! Marina the manager is excellent - she even came over at 11pm when we couldn’t figure out how to work the air conditioner. Mark the owner was very helpful before our stay. I would stay again.

Mark and Marina were ideal hosts -- they provide needed info on a timely basis, and when getting a taxi to the train was tough, Marina drove us so we wouldn't miss our train. Extremely kind and thoughtful. The property is excellent too! Ideal location and just beautiful! Your own Tower in the center of Lucca!
