We were in Maine to move an ailing family member. It was nice to be able to relax in a quiet, comfortable home instead in a hotel. The house was comfortable, well equipped, and conveniently located.

Property was perfect for our 2 adult children and my wife and I to spend a relaxing weekend in Wells. Clean, new and comfortable, it was really the best accommodations we have had in some time for the price. Would absolutely recommend this property.

We stayed for a girls weekend to enjoy the Kennebunkport Christmas prelude events. The house was perfect for us, with all we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The house was set on a very quiet street, very clean and beautifully decorated. There was plenty of seating both inside and out for everyone. We had one minor issue that we reported and we received a response back immediately. Thank you so much for sharing the home with us.

Everything was perfect!

Our stay was great. We’d love to stay at the beaches whale again. It was close to everything and a clean and inviting property!

We enjoyed that The Beached Whale was in a quiet area, close to a grocery store, and many restaurants. Using the trolley system was a nice bonus also! The house was clean and modern-would recommend it for a relaxing getaway. Our only concerns were that part of the directions to open the keypad door were wrong, but remedied with a phone call. We weren’t sure what to do with recycling cans, and it would have been nice to have some safety feature in the bottom of the bathtub, as it seemed to be very slippery. We would stay there again.

House was beautifully decorated, accommodating, clean, cozy and spacious. Vacasa made every so easy too from booking, arrival and departure! Close by to the main Ogunquit attractions but yet tucked away where you can have peace, quiet and privacy

From the moment we drove into the driveway we knew we had found something special. The house was clean, comfortable, and functional. It was so nice to be able to come back and relax after a day at the beach or shopping. It helped to be able to do our laundry and cook some meals at the house too. I would definitely recommend and plan to return for future stays. This vacation rental was just what our family of five needed.

The house was exceptionally clean and well stocked. The location was convenient. The outdoor shower was a unique addition to this home. It is worth noting, this is what makes it 2 full bathrooms. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stayed at this home and the house was very clean and comfortable with a great location. However, the grill in the backyard was very difficult to start and the door to the backyard got stuck multiple times and it can get quite hot upstairs compared to downstairs. Other than that, it was a good stay.

We stayed for Thanksgiving. It was a perfect location for us as we had other friends and family in the area. The house was clean, spacious and everything in the house worked just fine. We would definitely book The Beached Whale, again.

Beautiful home, convenient location. Has everything you could possibly need. Bring k cups or coffee they have both keurig and conventional coffee maker with filters (did not find til day 2). I brought my own blender (that seemed to be the only thing missing). Deck and front porch allowed you to sit in sun any time of day. Ac and heat worked great. Tvs were smart and wifi was fast. Enjoyed showering outside every day. Nice floor plan, 3 bedrooms meant big enough for everyone. We locked ourself out and agency came to our rescue in a few minutes. Very responsive! We will definitely be renting soon again. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we made good memories there.

Beautifully decorated and fast and easy commute to Ogunquit Beach and all it has to offer.

This gone was spacious, comfortable and centrally located to all our favorite Maine adventures! It is minimalist in furnishings and kitchen supplies. I’d like to see them stock the kitchen more and have more cozy spaces in the living room. There are no dressers in two of the bedrooms either.

This home had everything we needed and then some. We enjoyed the grill and the kitchen was well equipped. I found the home exceptionally clean and just a short drive to Wells beaches and the waterfront. I would highly recommend staying here and renting from Vacasa!

The place is immaculate. Everything is high end, new and clean. A few issues - door wouldn’t lock initially, outdoor shower didn’t work (big bummer) and TV was a bit quirky. Management company was very responsive. We will definitely go back.

Wow, an absolutely perfect getaway with two of my best friends. We each had our own room and spent most of our time in the spacious kitchen/dining room. We did not leave the house all weekend. Had every we needed. Hoping to return next March!
