La Casa Havana was perfect for our large group. Plenty of room for everyone to have their space, ect. When in Miami again would def stay here again. The only thing that is misleading was there is one Casita and the other out side area is more of a shed - it has AC and was okay for our group but my not be idea for others - just wanted to point that out. Again 5 stars.

I came to Miami with a group of college students for an urban studies anthropology class. We loved the house and its location - store right next door with a ventanita selling cafecitos for a dollar, a great bakery across the street, Publix only two blocks away, and close to Calle Ocho and public transit. We loved it and would definitely stay there again. Owners are super kind too.

All I can say about this house is that it was clean--everything else was incredibly disappointing. Unsafe neighborhood (there was literally police activity across the street), trash on the front curb, roosters that were scurrying all over the front yard & in the "spa" area & cockle doodle-dooing at 3 am, no dishwasher, old furniture & a tiny, non-modern bathroom. We also had a car that we needed to get in & out of the driveway gate, which required a lot of difficult maneuvering. The VRBO photos must be doctored-because the house, yard & hot tub look nothing like this. STAY AWAY.

when we checked in --there was no hot water and the gas top in the kitchen did not work --we noticed that the water heater was off --when we tried to turn on the water heater there was no gas going to it--when contacted the host --they said there should not be a problem since the last renters didn't have a problem--we complained to VRBO and nothing was done--the next day a gas tech showed up at the house and said the gas was valved out --we found another rental and checked out --when we contacted VRBO they said that the host said the gas is working again --gee thanks for all of your help!!! i will bever use VRBO again

Cats live under the house, hot tub was a mess, roosters at 2-3am, random homeless hanging out, graffiti and trash in the front of the property. Way over priced and photos were not what actual property looks like.

Great place to chill inside and outside. Nestled in the heart of little havana, close to local shops and restaurants just like the description said. My friends and I were very happy, the host was very nice and communicated with us regularly. My friends and I all said we would definitely book this one again! The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, well except for the roosters...but they were cool neighbors nevertheless.

The property itself is nice, we loved staying outside in the patio that is surrounded by green fence and gives perfect privacy. The house manual and instructions were very clear. The property condition was not that great on the other hand - several lamps were not connected because there was not even a power outlet nearby, there was no dishwasher even though it was listed (it's not listed anymore), the spa wasn't in a state that we would dare to enter it and there were chicken running aroundd doing their job everywhere.

My group of 8 women stayed here while were at a canoe race in Miami. The pros: Super-easy entrance: Front door had a combo lock to get in. Mgmt gave us early entrance at 12 noon for extra $100. Lots of kitchen supplies like paper towels, coffee filters, trash bags. Also lots of utensils for cooking. The LR furniture was comfy, lots of seating; and DR had good seating for meals. We preferred the backyard bath to the indoor bath. The outdoor garden was lovely, a comfy place to hang. The cons: -The house was set up as shown online, but 2 BRs are accessed outdoors (the bunkbeds BR, and one queen BR); these are 2 little bungalows from the back yard. IMO, only an issue if you need to sleep little kids here or if using a bathroom outside in the dark is an issue for any one staying in these BRs. -The hot tub was not clean; there was mold around the edges along the water, and no one wanted to use it. It had been treated because the chlorine smell was very strong. We notified mgmt, but none of us were going in, so they didn't address this. -The house needs a good cleaning. Dusty ceiling fans, tile floors needed washing (could not walk around barefoot). Many air fresheners (w/strong fragrance) to cover the moldy smell, but in Miami, with humid weather, I assume mold is part of life. -Next door has roosters and chickens that run around on this property and occas fly out of trees if startled. Also, these roosters crow from 4 am on so if a light sleeper, bring ear plugs.
