Everything was perfect. Nikole was super communicative and the house was a dream. No reason to even leave the house!

The house is fantastic, the pool amazing and being right on the lake just tops off this wonderful home. The house is kept immaculate. It is well stocked with games for the children, life jackets for the lake, fishing rods and pool floaties. The pool is beautiful and the outside seating area is gorgeous. And then being able to kayak/paddle board straight from the yard is incredible. The home owners are very responsive, helpful and friendly in their communications. We had such a wonderful, relaxing time!

This house was as advertised and actually more than we expected :-) Every aspect was phenomenal. All was well maintained and SPOTLESS. We didnt need/want to leave the property - everything was there to keep us entertained and having so much fun😆One trip to a supermarket to restock and it was a short drive. Nikole responded to any texts right away, she was so easy and pleasant to communicate with before and during our stay. Just a side note, if anyone in your party has an issue with stairs, you may want to take into account, that the most direct access to the pool deck from main floor of house, has about 15 steps. However, from the bottom level, its a flat walk right to that deck 👍 There were 10 of us family-gals celebrating my daughters 50th bday and this property offered everything to make our stay perfect !

This is a wonderful house! It is very well stocked and even had booster seats, high chairs, and a pack and play for Littles. There was plenty of outdoor and indoor seating and all the rooms were spacious. The property was very clean. The pool is absolutely amazing and the hot tub is large enough to fit multiple people comfortably. There are many options for water sports with the kayaks and standup paddleboard. The inlet is calm, which is nice for swimming in the lake. Overall great house and we had a fantastic time!!

We’ve been vacationing at Lake Norman for the past 8 years and everyone in our group agreed this house was our favorite. It had everything we needed and then some. The activities for the kids was endless. Not once did we hear “Mom, I’m bored”. Pool and outdoor eating areas were our favorite. Put putt course was well kept and in the shade. Inside of the house stayed nice and cool. The basement was loaded with things to keep our crew entertained when the sun went down. Would definitely stay here again.

The "Funhouse" was great! We had a group of 11, including 6 adults and 5 kids ranging in age from 4 to 14. There was a ton for everyone to do and stay entertained. The location at the north end of the lake was much quieter and less congested than other parts, giving us lots of room to do fun watersports! The walk to and from the dock on the lake was easy and short, and had almost no stairs. The dock itself was in fantastic shape and we were able to fish, swim, and tie up the pontoon boat we rented. There were also kayaks and paddleboards we used quite a bit! We had some rainy days, but the number and quality of the amenities in and around the house kept us happily occupied. The mini-golf in the front yard was a ton of fun! Nikole was very responsive to text messages when we had questions, and provided some great suggestions on restaurants, boat rentals, groceries, etc. Overall, a great house and a great week away!

Our family is fortunate enough to spend a week together each year. We decided to stay at a lakehouse versus our traditional beach adventure, and everyone had a great time! The house and pool were amazing, and we rented a boat and jet ski to enjoy time on the lake. Everyone in the family raved about how much fun we had. The theater room was a great way to enjoy some movies after long days on the lake and in the pool. The house was a perfect fit for our large clan.

As described. Grandkids had a ball. Lost power first morning and owners were in contact immediately. Lasted less than an hour but impressed by owners concern.

The funhouse was truly a gem! The house was clean, updated, and full of amenities. The kitchen was fully equipped. We had rainy weather the majority of our stay, but there was so much to do in the funhouse! There was mini golf, a movie theater, air hockey, pool, arcade, and closet full of games. The pool and hot tub were beautiful. Also, our host was extremely accommodating and very responsive. She even went over and beyond to get a birthday gift for our 8 year old. I would definitely recommend this house!!

This house was the perfect size to fit 5 couples! My husband and I live in NC and stayed here to show our in laws how beautiful lake Norman is! The amenities were great to have to entertain to feel as if you didn’t have to leave, which was perfect for the couple of rainy days we had.

Our stay at the Funhouse was absolutely wonderful. The house is super clean and is perfect for both small and large groups. The amenities are out of this world! We spent a majority of our time outdoors enjoying the golf and the beautiful pool area. We were fortunate to have great weather during our stay and this allowed us to swim and enjoy daily fun on the patios. Kayaking on the lake was great and our kids and grandkids absolutely loved the huge game room space and of course the movie theater. No trip goes 100% perfectly but whenever we had a question or a minor issue popped-up the owner responded super-quickly. We all felt that our trip to the Funhouse was a huge success and one of the best vacations that we’ve ever had. We’re already talking about a return visit next year!

We chose this home as the location for our Thanksgiving this year. Unfortunately, our home is currently being remodeled but fortunately, we now know about this property. Everyone of every age had a blast and easily found some thing to do without having to leave.

Perfect property for a family getaway. The house and amenities exceeded our expectations. There was something for everyone - from fishing from the dock, to making s'mores around the outdoor firepit, to watching college football in the media room and playing pool and air hockey! Kitchen was stocked with all the necessities to make meal preparation easy. Would highly recommend!

This is an amazing property. The pictures don’t even really do it justice. Everything was super clean and so well labeled; everything you need is right at your fingertips! We had a blast playing all the games, watch movies in the home theater, lounging in the pool and watching fish and birds on the lake. The hosts are awesome and easy to reach if you need anything and check in and out was a breeze. We had a wonderful time on our special family vacation and would recommend this property to anyone!

Owners have recently added a fantastic new pool and other outdoor activity areas. The dock is new and fishing and water sports from the dock worked out well for us. The house itself was top shelf and loaded with extra features. I think anyone would enjoy this property!

The funhouse is the place to be this summer and every! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here, it is a great place to unwind and relax. There is so much to do here, you will never have to leave! From mini golf, to a beautiful pool and jacuzzi, to fun on the water with paddle boarding and kayaking and ending off the night in the movie room with the entire family. The host is amazing, the house was incredibly clean and we didn’t need a thing! Definitely recommend the funhouse to everyone! 😀

We had a great vacation at Lake Norman. The house was everything we were looking for: spacious, clean and very well appointed. First off, we were unprepared for it to be so well stocked. We brought a lot of kitchen ware, beach towels, pool toys, etc. and didn't use the vast majority of it as the house had just about everything. The pool was really nice. I was a little leery about a salt water pool, but it was only a little salty and not like the ocean at all. The water temp was spot on as well. We enjoyed the big basement game room and theater as well. The beds were comfy and lots of bathrooms! We definitely will consider going back for our next vacation.

This house is all that is promised and much, much more! Our group ranged in ages from 11 to 75 and there was something for everyone. The new inground saltwater pool was by far our favorite amenity--as beautiful as any 5 star resort, with plenty of seating with umbrellas for shade and a shaded outdoor kitchen to grill poolside. Our entire group of 11 easily fit at the table under the deck poolside where we enjoyed many meals. Pretty sure we also took advantage of every available outdoor activity (kayaks, SUPs, fishing off the dock, yard games, mini golf, fire pit) and never once had a problem with mosquitos. Seriously, not one squirt of bug spray was used the entire week! Typical of a NC summer we had several stormy afternoons and evenings, but it didn't matter. The basement game room and movie theater made sure there was always something to do. The house is absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean upon our arrival. Well stocked kitchen and the starter kit of paper products in the kitchen and bathrooms was enough for our entire stay. For the grandparents in our group it was particularly nice that there were 2 bedrooms on the main level and all bathrooms had walk in showers. Our host, Nikole, was awesome! Always so quick to respond to our questions during the booking process, as our vacation approached, and during our stay. To sum it up, we had a wonderful time and would DEFINITELY rent this house again.
