Handled everything seamlessly with the local power being out. Contingency plans in place exceeded expectations to ensure a perfect stay! Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Acadia Bar harbor area!

We loved our short stay here. After a week doing a mini road trip around Maine it was the perfect peaceful last stop before heading home. Clean, quiet, comfortable. The beach access was amazing! So many interesting rocks, shells, and critters to look at along the shore. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful spot!

Absolutely perfect retreat from all the noise of society. It was a beautiful tranquil setting to enjoy our fall break with our daughter. We throughly enjoyed our coffee on the porch with the peaceful ocean view and stunning fall leaves. The sunset was stunning and we enjoyed low tide to find some beautiful shells and sea glass. I'm so glad we found this gem that is super close to Acadia. We would definitely like to come back in the summer to enjoy the kayaking and spend more time in Maine.

We loved staying in this beautiful cottage. The location was quiet, not to far of a drive to Acadia and close enough to grocery stores to pick up a few items for snacks and meals at home and on the road during our days hiking and exploring. We made sure to be back at the cottage all three nights so we could enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Exploring at low tide was one of my favorite things. We made a fire one night and it was the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring Acadia. I was able to capture lots of amazing photography around the property which will help preserve our memories forever. Definitely recommend!

This place is beautiful inside and out! The hosts were gracious, it’s a secluded location not too far from Acadia and Bar Harbor, and best of all right on the bay. …. I mean just steps from the door! You’ll love it, it’s awesome.

This cottage was very clean and well kept. They have a lot of special little touches that are very sweet. It’s well stocked to cook in the small kitchen. Tons of windows that overlook the ocean in the backyard. It has a beautiful rocky beach we enjoyed walking. They have great outdoor seating and a hammock. It’s also incredibly peaceful and serene. The owners communicate very well. It’s a great location with easy access all through Acadia. The small towns you pass through are very quaint and enjoyable. Lots of great food! I would highly recommend!

My sis and I were up in Maine to visit our sister who works at Acadia. This property was off the beaten path, literally, but not too far from Ellsworth or Bar Harbor. It was actually pretty easy to get around. It was so quiet and nice, we caught beautiful sunsets on the water and enjoyed coffee on the deck as the sun rose. Beds were SO comfortable, which was much needed after long days of hiking at Acadia. There’s games and basic cookware for enjoying a night in, which we did one night. Overall, I highly recommend and would absolutely come back!

Perfect locale/perfect hosts
We loved our stay. The upstairs was really nice — big comfy bed, big TV, tons of windows looking into the water. The hosts responded immediately to all our requests — all minor. We meditated several times — it was so quiet/peaceful. Strong recommendation!

Beautiful!
We enjoyed our stay with lovely views of trees changing color and enjoyed walking on the beach. The kitchen was well-stocked for us to cook ourselves dinner and the drive to Acadia was beautiful and not too far, maybe 25 minutes to the entrance. We had a cozy stay and would definitely come back!

Wonderful Getaway
Was a perfect spot to relax for a long weekend, enjoying the beach front access and lovely foliage. It’s a great location only takes 30 minutes to Acadia and 20 to Bar Harbor, would definitely stay again.

Amazing
The property was incredible! Amazing views, access to water and amenities. Nice short ride into Bar Harbor and Acadia. Had everything we needed, was clean and cozy. Bed was comfortable and our hosts were wonderful.

Amazing views, great location, very comfortable!
Doug and Nichi provided everything we could possibly need including wood for a fire, toiletries, K cups, water, granola bars, and more which we really appreciated, since we arrived late the first evening. Their communication and response was clear and timely. And the property! Absolutely gorgeous million dollar views and in close approximity to Acadia National Park where we spent most of our time. The rock, shell, and glass collecting was just as good down their stairs as it was anywhere in the park. The guest house itself was very comfortable with enough space and great wifi! We'd love to come back!

Spectacular!
What a special place this is! Completely exceeded our expectations. The place itself is cozy and comfortable. Steps from the waterfront on a secluded beach, providing a true sense of the peaceful wilderness. Hosts were kind and quick to answer any questions we had. We absolutely loved our stay here and can't wait to return someday!

Picturesque Spot/Awesome Hosts
We stayed at this guest house for 4 nights in September ‘21, and it was a wonderful experience. The hosts are extremely nice and we’re a great measure to meet. The guest house is quaint, clean and comfy. The bed is great and shower has excellent pressure. The location is the best part. Overlooking the bay, you awake to the song of gulls. It’s calm and quiet but a short jaunt to the busy Bar Harbor area. Kayaking out back was great. Tide change is huge. Be sure to tie the boats up well! An awesome experience, and we would return in a heartbeat. Thanks so much for a wonderful 4 days of relaxation!!!

Perfect getaway!
We stumbled upon this property the very last minute and oh my it was the greatest surprise ever! The place was cute little cottage that backs to the most beautiful waterfront. The host was super responsive and kept the place very clean. Would highly recommend!
