We were looking for a place to get together for Christmas as my Father in law has sold his house and moved into a retirement facility. This house was perfect for my family of 5 and the rest of the family that was in a hotel to get together for the holiday. It was perfectly stocked for cooking our Christmas dinner and the den was big enough for us all to watch football and visiting. The Christmas tree up was a great touch. We have already talked about returning.

The location was excellent, close to the Plaza and having Loose park across the street was very enjoyable. Loved the character of the home and the outside screened porch was amazing. We definitely will be back.

We decided to rent this property while attending a local college reunion. Since there was a group of us, we wanted to stay at a house near the campus where we could all be together but not feel cramped. This property was perfect for what we needed. It provided us with ample space in a great location (near the park) and even with 8 people, and it never felt crowded. The property felt light and airy, and the outdoor space provided a great gathering space for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. As a bonus, there are e-chargers directly across the street in the park, so those of us with hybrids could pop over and charge without any difficulty.

What a nice home and we really enjoyed our weekend in KC. The home was in an unbelievable neighborhood with close proximity to County Club plaza and also the Westport area. Mike was a pleasure to work with and we had great conversation and expected response time. I have already told several people about the home and want to plan a couples weekend with the kids. We will be back!

We are originally from Kansas City but no longer have family in town. We wanted to visit as "tourists" and found this wonderful property. It was the perfect size, clean and well equipped. The side porch was so wonderful in the mornings and evenings. We were in the middle of a heat wave and the home remained cool and comfortable (and there was a nice breeze on the porch). We have already recommended to another family and will definitely be back!!

Great location near the Plaza (walking distance in good-cool weather). Beautiful old-style home across the street from a lovely park. The listing didn't mention (or I missed) that you don't have the whole house to yourself (you just have the lower/main level). There is an upper unit under renovation (no noise/no issues for us). Great communication with the owner and wonderfully fun KC decor throughout the home! My one issue was that the bunk beds are metal and very squeaky (IE every time someone in one of the four beds moves you will hear it)- we brought a sound machine that helped. Would stay again- great for families!

There was so much we loved about staying at this property - if we could rate it 6/5 stars, we would! The location of the house is walking distance from downtown and has a park across the street, and felt very safe and secure. The accommodations such as multiple beds, flexibility of check-in and check-out, screened-in porch and yard were all a bonus. Mike was quick and easy to communicate with and accommodated all of our additional needs with flexibility. The house itself was clean and updated while still being cozy. We will definitely return and stay at this property again!

This property was just lovely!! Stayed in this house with family and friends, for my wedding. Owners where so very thoughtful and caring from the get go, I could not thank them enough for it! Everything we needed was available! Everyone enjoyed their stay, and loved being across Loose Park. Baby and dog friendly items as well. We had a group of 8 girls (adults 30+) staying at the home! Lots of room for everyone to stay with only a few sharing a bed. There are 4 double beds in a cute bunk style room, then a private room with a king bed, a 3rd private room with its own full bathroom, and an office with French doors and a double sized daybed. A second full bathroom is in the hallway outside of the other rooms. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking! We weren’t aware until arrival that there were full-time tenants that live in the top part of the home. We did not hear them at all and I hope they didn’t hear us. We aren’t partiers but some of the girls are “loud” and we definitely had some good laughs— we were worried we would wake them/cause noise complaints. All in all— great location and super cute and trendy home!

We stayed during our daughter's wedding week end! The multiple bedrooms and bed sizes were perfect for us. The property was very clean and well appointed! Great KC Vibe . Great location with easy access to Plaza, Museum District, and Downtown. Beautiful Park across the street!

This property was in the perfect location for a weekend stayca. We loved the proximity to the park and the plaza. We also loved the size of the place and used the big dining table both days. Our family recently spent a long weekend in this lovely home on Loose Park. It is in the perfect location near both the Plaza and Brookside, restaurants, shops, coffee. Add the beauty of Loose Park right across the street, and you cannot ask for more! The home itself was spotless and well appointed with beautiful furniture and linens. The Kansas City themed decor is tasteful and a perfect tribute to this historic city. Katie was very prompt in communication, helpful and made check in and departure simple and streamlined. We will definitely stay here again on return trips to visit Kansas City!

The bedding situation was IDEAL in this property as everyone had a bed (no blowups or short couch sleeping needed.) Would be perfect for 2 family's as the parents can have the two big bedrooms and the kids can have the "pajama party room" (named so by our 4yo niece..) Location directly across from Loose park (and the fantastic playground and running trails) was perfect way for the kids to blow off a little steam. If circumstances were different, we would have definitely loved the short walk to Country Club Plaza for shopping, dining and people watching. Lastly, Katie was one of the most responsive hosts I've ever worked with. Her care for her property AND us as here guests was second to none.
