House was clean but needs a few more kitchen gadgets. Had to call for kitchen towels, but they were sent out promptly. Did not have propane for grill. Wish the house had a green space like Cinnamon Shores for the kids to play outside, but overall, a good experience. Everyone was very nice and accomodating.

We came in for a week long family vacation with 4 kids and our nanny and everyone had a great time. The house is beautiful, the decks and balconies are the nicest I've ever seen, our favorite thing to do while at home was to swing on the porch swing and feel the amazing ocean breeze and listening to the birds. The pool at the community was amazing, we went every single day, their bar and food service at the pool was great! The property manger was very responsive and took care of any issues that raised fast. Our stay was great, one of the most relaxing vacations ever. We truly had the best time! I recommend you reserve your golf cart, cabana and beach chairs weeks before your arrival. Upon our arrival nothing was available for the whole week but we still made it work, we went into town and rented things somewhere else.

The staff was professional and the amenities at the resort were helpful after a long day at the beach. Beach access and setup were a breeze given the crossover bridge accessable from the resort. Only down sides to our stay was endless stairs. Some of the was to be expected with beach housing but having the living room/kitchen on the top floor made for very tired legs and didn't leave much space to congregate before leaving each day. Additionally the 2 stair wells are steep and pose a hazard to children and elderly. All in all it was a great trip and we were thankful to be together in a lovely home.

Easy access to the beach, an exceptional neighborhood pool with libation bar, beautiful golf course, and an oustanding restaurant (The Black Marlin) made our stay a real treat. The home was clean, well kept and the view across the golf course to the Gulf was spectacular. Unfortunately, access to the 3rd floor kitchen/living area via 2 sets of very steep stairs limits practical use of the home to athletic individuals. A dumbwaiter and a simple refrigerator ice maker would be welcome improvements - particularly in this price range. We will pay more attention to the description of the stairs in our next rental. Streets in the resort are narrow (leave the big honker truck at home) and parking is a little inconvenient, but workable.

Reviewer Comments: positives: beautiful house with nice furniture and very clean, Palmilla Resort amenities and guest services (restaurant with ordering at beach, pool and inside golf club, beach bathrooms, chairs, pool cabanas, onsite golf carts, events, etc), for those with children there is 1 built in baby gate on the middle floor, a door for the top floor, and extra gates in the closet negatives: construction... the house next door is being built and lots of construction in the resort so be aware; we had to call because there were vehicles blocking the driveway and my husband had to go to corpus to get a new tire because we got a flat due to a nail in our tire (but the weekend had LESS construction than during the week and that was a reprieve from the noise and congestion), stairs... the house has stairs about 26 per flight very steep so be advised for carrying stuff or guests who dont do well with stairs, we did have issues getting into the house on check-in but a call fixed the problem... would rather have the key pad on the inside of the garage versus the outside door because it was a hassle with shutting the garage door

I called to complain and they apologized and told me they would get someone out there that day. They didn’t. I called the next morning and they said the housekeeper would call to setup a time to come by and clean. No call. So I cleaned the whole place myself. They finally the day before checkout saying they would send someone that afternoon. I laughed. They keep promising compensation but no one will call me back. This company is a total sham. I spoke with someone again a few days ago (Hunter) and he told me a manager would call me to discuss compensation. No one ever called me. Your company is a joke and I have reported you to the BBB, I have posted a review on your Facebook page and I will continue to take further action if someone does not provide me with adequate compensation before the end of the day tomorrow.

There were 7 of us that stayed and we had more than enough room. Everything was immaculate. We spent time at the pool and it was so nice to have staff that took care of us. Everyone was so welcoming .
