We had a great stay in the U.P. - only drawback was there was no connectivity, but then again it was pretty good to be without the internet for a few days!

Clean and easy to get to. Great spot to stay and then explore the UP. Plenty of space for a family or larger group.

We really enjoyed our stay! Clean and cozy space, with everything needed to make meals etc. We enjoyed cooking over the campfire....a few chairs around the campfire ring would have been nice. It's within easy driving distance of lovely beaches and lakes for fishing, or day trips! Would definitely recommend!

House had everything it needed. We were pleasantly surprised by the toys for our toddler. Easy to find and good base location to see the falls, whitefish point and get to Soo Locks

My family and I enjoyed our 2-night stay. We needed a place to rest before/after the taqua 25k, and this was a great place to do that! We had a 10 month-old and 7 year-old with us, and the house was safe and equipped with lots of toys and baby gear. The house/driveway are difficult to find in the dark, and we didn't have cell phone service to communicate with my late-arriving husband. While the beds were comfy and clean, I will say that dust/dirt in the house was too much for a couple of my family members. Overall, great stay!

The stay was great! There was no service so we had to drive to service to communicate with the property owner, but it was no problem for us. Allowed us to unplug and spend quality time together. The place was clean and easy to use for all ages. I loved that there was a crib for my baby. Kris is easy to get in touch with and responds quickly.

The home was cozy and close to the falls and other activities we wanted to see. The manager was responsive and helpful with all of our questions. Check in and out was very simple. Having a washing machine in the middle of our trip was ideal and cut down on packing. Without cable and cell service it was a nice unplug as a family we brought games and kids enjoyed the movies at the home. If we were going to the area again we would stay here and recommend it to others.

House was nice, clean, and cute. It did have a unique smell to it, as if someone had smoked in it in the past. We are not smokers so between maybe that, it being closed up, and having pets in it in the past we thought the smell was off. Once we had windows open it aired out ok, plus I had a diffuser going so that helped too. Location was good for our trip. Owner made sure to communicate if something was not working, which was super nice. Overall we liked it, and would recommend it 🙂

Nice location and clean. A short drive to Tahquamenon Falls.

Trail was easy to get to. Listing was accurate and was perfect for what we were doing. Were able to fit two 30 ft trailers.

The house was comfortable. Had a hard time with the heat. Bathroom extremely small. Washer did not work. Would have been nice to have more seats around the fire pit than 3 stumps of wood. Ran out of hot water in the evening

House is exactly as listed. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 5 kids. Perfect location traveling to Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Pointe and Sault Ste Marie. Also stopped at Point Iroquois Lighthouse. Definitely would come back!

Stayed here when visiting sites near Paradise (Whitefish Point/Shipwreck Museum, Tahquamenon Falls, Bear Ranch). Very clean and nicely equipped with plenty of space for a family. Nice collection of DVDs. ATT cell service worked. Definitely recommend.

The location and overall property was nice. Very Quiet and Peaceful. We had a couple great game-nights with our kids while listening to 80’s music on the local radio station. Unfortunately, the property was not clean. As we first entered, it almost felt like they didn’t finish cleaning and had to leave. I had to call out to see if someone was still there. The dryer also wasn’t working, which forced us to drive into town to finish cleaning our clothes at the laundromat. Towels had an unclean odor to them. Overall, we were disappointed in this property. Paying a hefty cleaning fee on top of the rental, should give peace of mind that the property was clean upon arrival. Sadly it wasn’t.

We had two families share the property, one family slept upstairs the other families slept downstairs there's plenty to do around the area, and everything you need is here. Kris is quick to respond to a text, and always willing to help. It's very clean and well kept, and I would stay again and again.

Overall this was a very good option for our stay. The location is great right on the main road making an easy drive to Paradise, Taquamenon, and even the Soo. Good family space and some room, toy, and movie options for kids which we had. Good layout as well. The only minor things that gave a it a 4 instead of a 5 are easily fixable and hopefully will be. The biggest was due to high Temps in the upper 80s with no wind. A couple box fans would have made a world of difference turning a restless night into a fine night. It was extremely hot in the upper room. I know it's the U.P. but any extra mosquito control would have been helpful as well leaving a fire pit option on the cooler evening an option. The least is probably due to limited options in the area and possibly the previous guests but there were some dirty dishes in the cabinets and some other minor cleaning issues. Overall the place was a great stay and none would be deal breakers for us returning. These few minor things would make the stay that much better.

We had a wonderful trip. The home is beautiful and set up nicely for our group. Kris is very nice and quick to respond. We had no issues and were very happy with our stay. Thank you again for letting us enjoy your beautiful piece of paradise.

Warm, cozy, clean Northern woodsy cottage. Was set up perfectly we literally felt like we were at home. Owners are great people as well, easy to communicate with and made our stay easy & relaxing.

Located a short drive away from Paradise, sandy beaches, and tahquamenon falls, so this was a perfect cabin for my group! The cabin itself is nice, just a warning that the loft area does not have a privacy door, though it is up a staircase so it still offers some privacy. The only issue we had was the bathroom was not cleaned when we arrived, we let the host know and they apologized so I am sure it will get proper attention in the future. Excellent communication from the host, pay attention to the extra directions on how to locate the property, Google/apple maps is off by a few miles.

This is a lovely home in close proximity to Tahquamenon Falls State Park and Whitefish Point Lighthouse. Incredibly beautiful scenery. Home is well laid out, with a cozy living room, nice master bedroom, kids room with bunk beds and a large loft area. The host was very responsive. We had a great stay and would happily return.

Great stay at the house, he had everything handy and ready for your stay. It was in close proximity to Pictured Rocks, Tahquemon, and the Lower Peninsula.
