This remodeled home sits atop a small hill and on a blind corner- so was a little nerve racking to exit each day. The back drive is not large enough for a car to turn around well/ so we had to back out into the semi-busy road each day. Least favorite part of the home. The yard surrounding the home was pretty cluttered and needed maintenance. There are several steps into the home, and a curb on the carport, so be careful. It was clean and well stocked- had nice towels/toilet paper/issues. Most places skimp here and I bring my own, but not this place. There is no dining area, but a bar area and stools accommodated fine. Only the king size room is comfy- the other two are small and difficult to maneuver within. Had to keep my suitcase in a different area to change. Heavy sulfur smell when using water- but tolerable. House had all the basic necessities and beds were firm, but comfy enough. Distance to town was perfect, and my kids enjoyed the space by the creek. Overall we enjoyed our stay. A few outdoor updates and driveway change would be great for this cute home.

The home was beautiful, clean and comfortable. It was our family’s first trip to the Biltmore and we very much enjoyed it.

The house was spotless and all necessary amenities were provided. Owners have done a great job remodeling an older home. Feels like you are staying in a cabin, very cozy and comfortable. Location was an easy access to Asheville. Owners were friendly and promptly replied to any questions.

This was nice and cozy with a beautiful backyard view! Beds were comfortable, and everything was wonderfully clean. The host answered questions I had late at night, and I couldn’t have been any more pleased.

My family and I very much enjoyed staying at this property. The bedrooms were all spacious, the bathrooms were very clean, and everything felt very comfortable. We did experience some internet problems, but communication with the owner was phenomenal and we resolved the problem quickly. We highly recommend this property.

We stayed here for our trip to Biltmore. It was super convenient to places to eat in downtown Asheville as well as to Biltmore.

We had a great time staying at the home. The owner was very prompt to respond to any questions. The linens and beds were top notch! The main downfall was there is not table seating. They have a very small bar area up against the wall in the living area, but we cooked a big meal one night and there wasn't enough seating for the 6 of us. Luckily we found TV trays and made due sitting on the couches. Also the water has a very distinct sulpher smell. We had bottled water to use for any cooking and drinking. I didn't feel safe drinking the water. All in all we had a nice stay and comfortable sleeping arrangements for a party of 6 adults!

We loved relaxing on the front porch swing and watching the deer. The beds are so comfortable and the linens are 5 star. We also enjoyed the electric fireplace. The owner responded quickly to any of our needs. Highly recommend and its not too far from the Biltmore and historical Asheville.

It was a very quick stay. In town to attend a family reunion. The house was very clean. No problems at check-in. The beds were comfortable. The ice maker was broken but no big deal, we just bought a bag of ice. Denise was able to answer any questions we had. There was an Ingles about 8 minutes away. We weren’t there long enough for the kids to enjoy the creek.

Wonderful farmhouse in the country on five acres with plenty of room for the kids to romp.

Great place to stay right outside downtown. Has everything you need for a group to stay. Would recommend.

The house was exactly as described in the posting. The house was very clean and organized. The location worked out perfect with the plans we had all around the Asheville area. We would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it.

Wow! What a great experience we had staying at this Vrbo. Denise was so hospitable.and all around a wonderful host.I had questions due to this being the first time we stayed at a Vrbo and she was so kind, prompt and helpful. I could always count on a response to my questions within minutes. This continued throughout our whole stay. She was just great! As for the house, super cute and just as pictured. We had more than enough space considering the amout of time we spent there. If i ever get back that way, i would definitely rent from this host again!

We came up for the weekend. My son was beat man in a wedding so we needed a place where I could keep our newborn granddaughter so they could be at all of the wedding events. The house was so comfortable and absolutely lovely.

This was the perfect cabin for our mini vacation. Cabin was very clean and check in was simple. Location was great for what we wanted to do. Spent one day at the Biltmore and another at Mt Mitchell and Downtown Asheville. During our downtime we relaxed in the swing on the front porch or watched a movie together on the huge living room tv. We would stay at this cabin again if we visited this area again.

This was a perfect house for a family vacation. Little one had her own spot upstairs in the loft area. We had privacy in our own bedroom downstairs. House was big enough for more than just 3 people. The property was beautiful. We loved sitting outside at night watching the fireflies and we were lucky enough to see some deer running through the backyard. The only issue we had was actually with the app not letting me message the owners to tell them that we were leaving. So hopefully my message got through to them.

We really enjoyed our weekend at the Creekside Cabin. It was a short distance from the wedding festivities we attended in town but seemed like a remote mountain getaway when were on the property. The beds were very comfortable and the home was immaculately maintained. We would highly recommend this cabin.

The house was super cozy, host was friendly and accessible. Located within 10 minutes of downtown Asheville. Definitely the quiet escape we were hoping for and only moments from activities galore! Host also had some super helpful suggestions when it came to places to eat

We can’t say enough great things about our stay. Denise’s home had everything we needed! Beds were very comfy, kitchen had everything we needed and the surroundings were just what we were looking for…peace and quiet! We would highly recommend this rental!

Loved it and it snowed

Wonderful place! Clean, well appointed, warm & comfortable. We had a problem with the pipes freezing, which was inconvenient, however, owner was quick to respond to begin trying to rectify the situation. We spent the majority of our trip inside the house because of the extreme temperatures & am so grateful at how comfortable & roomy it was for us & three grown children. Would love to stay again, but maybe during another season next time. :)

Unit was clean but some very basics were lacking. No soap for the showers, kitchen was ill equipped, 2 towels for each bathroom for a three day stay, safety concerns as 5 windows were unlocked and one window could not be locked as it was broken. Internet was very spotty and cable system kept timing out and buffering. Last day the cable system did not work at all. HVAC system did not operate correctly.

Very clean and well furnished to make it a very inviting place to stay. We were headed in quite a few directions throughout the stay and seemed we were 15 min from everything no matter if we were headed east, west, or south. Great stay.

Nice cozy cabin conveniently located near Blue Ridge Parkway, family nature spots and Ingles grocery store and restaurants. We enjoyed our drive to Grandfather Mountain, Craggy Garden, and DuPont Falls.

The house was very clean and neat. We were there the first cold day of weather. Had problems with heat but was fixed very quick. The biggest problem was the internet. TVs would continue to buffer and would not connect. Resetting did not help.

We had the best stay at this property. The house was well appointed with furnishings and everything you would have in your kitchen at home (check the dishwasher for more clean mugs!) We were 8 people, 4 adults and 4 kids, and the set up could not have been better with a loft for the 3 teen girls. Owners were responsive and also promptly mailed my daughters watch which she left at the house. Can’t wait to return in the spring!

Cozy cottage a perfect distance from Ashville and the Biltmore property. Close enough to get everywhere in 15 minutes. There are two bedrooms and a loft with a larger bed and two twins. Everything was comfortable and clean. The water is probably from a well, it has a bit of a metallic smell and tasted like iron, so if that is an issue for you bring bottled water. We had a great time!

This property fit our needs very well. We came from Minnesota with our daughter and our son came from Durham with his family. The bedroom layout worked perfectly. Our stay here left us feeling like we had really experienced the area.
