Location. Boutique style b&b. Hospitality . So so clean

Our room was lovely, if a little compact, but we wanted the sea view and that was what we got. What a treat to be able to lie in bed and look at the sea. It was also lovely to have coffee bags on the complimentary tray: may not sound much, but so rare. Overall, it was great; would love to return if we find weekend when there's a vacancy!

Great location. My room looked out over the North Bay. Very clean and newly decorated. Friendly, efficient staff. Had a few extra touches, such as fancy coffee and a ticky mirror in the bathroom. Breakfast. Perfectly nice, and staff, very attentive. It's really very hard to find anything to criticise.

We were made very welcome on our arrival. Everything explained about breakfast ordering and timings, given keys and shown to our room which was lovely. Beautiful view from window, room very clean and was nicely displayed. Bathroom was again very clean and modern with added touches eg bathrobes, toiletries. Would definitely stay here again. The lady who was in charge during our visit was lovely, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

We absolutely love staying at The Helaina. This was our 4th visit and definitely won’t be our last!

We liked the position in the quieter North Bay. Lovely decor, and thoughtfully decorated throughout, you can see this place is run with pride. We had a small bedroom but others are larger, but still no complaints, it was very nice and clean with everything you could need. Staff are excellent. Breakfast was amazing, quality food which I think is rare and very accommodating towards my wife's nut allergy. I highly recommend this establishment.

2 night stay for a leisure break. Freindly welcome, choice of rooms, everything explained clearly about breakfast, keys etc.. and extra heating should we want it. Very clean rooms, guest areas, and breakfast room. Bedroom comfortably furnished with all requirements of a 5 star b&b. Would definitely recommend to friends and will stay again there.

Arrived early parked right outside door was given parking given parking disc went off for dinner came back later to check in.very friendly and efficient check in .room on 3rd floor no 7 a bit small but spotlessly clean and a fantastic view comfortable bed tea and coffee, bottle of water,spotlessly clean bathroom with good shower.tv good selection of channels. Room small but not a problem very cozy and quiet all In all a fantastic 5 night stay and will be back.

A two day stay to break a drive back to southern England from Scotland. We wanted to test a 5 star establishment in a place we hadn't visited before. Our host was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, and most attentive at all times but particularly at breakfast, which was excellent and lasted us until dinnertime.

A very comfortable room with a fantastic view. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. We couldn't fault our stay at all, we loved every minute and didn't want to go home.
