Great place, lots of room, awesome game room and kids room

This three story is perfectly located. It is a short distance from town and close to skiing during winter. The silence was wonderful. The house was clean and well furnished with everything you need in a home. The kitchen is very well stocked and there are two refrigerators… one in garage also. Would definitely return.

The house was fantastic. The kitchen, game room, and bathrooms were all well stocked to meet everyone's needs. We loved the hot tub on the patio. All rooms were well decorated to make us feel at home. We would definitely stay here again!

The good: The property itself is great! Nice size rooms, good amenities (good selection of games & appliances), good location and nice neighborhood. Having charging cables throughout the house was super convenient! We had a great time playing shuffleboard! We asked for fans (since there's no a/c and it was pretty warm when we visited, and the property management brought extra fans. Unfortunately, trying to get enough towels was impossible. Upon arriving, there was 1 bath sheet, 1 hand towel and 1 washrag PER ROOM. We had 9 adults and 4 children - we requested and were given additional towels but never had enough for each person to have their own. Consequently, we did a lot of laundry especially since the bath towel was also your jacuzzi towel. The not-so-good: It would have been far more convenient to have a garage door opener rather than having to walk up the front steps, through the front door and then down the stairs to open the garage. I'm not lazy -- it's just inconvenient. Upon arriving and starting to put groceries away, I found a plate full of crackers and chocolate in a cabinet, cheerios on the dining room floor, other packages of opened (I mean like open/stale - not like opened and stored for others to use), cobwebs on the headboard and diapers and other trash behind the chest in the master (moved to look for an outlet). I notified the property manager and they did offer to send housekeeping up but I had already cleaned up because it icked me out. The crockpot and toaster were sticky and gross. Overall, the property is good - I just think their housekeeping and towel situation needs to step up.

My family I enjoyed the cabin, it was spacious and great for all the family to come together but also have each our own space.

We stayed for a week with 2 other families. There were 7 adults and 5 kids (11mos-6yrs) and the set up was great! The older 2 slept in the bunk room on the 1st floor and they thought the bunk room was soooo cool! This house is equipped with everything you would need from the kitchen to games. It was also the last week of skiing at Snow Summit and it was such a quick walk up there from the house. We had a really fun tournament playing shuffleboard and foosball one night too! We are actually talking about renting this same property yearly for our friendcation! The rental company was also great to work with and very communicative with me!

We had an amazing time in Big Bear because of this house. The location was just a short walk to snow summit so our party could come and go as they wanted for skiing. The house was equipped with everything that we could have wanted and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this home!

We had such a fun time at Half Stone Lodge. The house had more than enough space for 3 families and was exactly as described. Plenty of linens, towels, blankets, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need plus more. The check in/out instructions were very easy and the staff responded to text quickly. We would love to plan another stay at this property.

The kids loved the bunkbeds and the playroom was highly used. The backyard and deck became a big hang out spot, while the living room was spacious and cozy enough for the entire family. We only had two complaints, the first, was the number of towels available. Not too big a deal because there was a washer and dryer available, but would have been nice to have extra towels in the home. Secondly, all the mattresses in the bedrooms with the exception of the bunk beds, had very hard mattresses. No one except the kids got a good nights sleep. While we would love to stay in this home next year, the firm mattresses makes it very difficult to return.

Easy online process

We were looking for a cabin large enough to accomodate our family and this cabin definitely fit the bill. The location is also great--super close to Snow Summit. The cabin was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed... even extra blankets and pillows. The only negative is that it's 3 floors and the stairs were dangerous for our toddlers.

This place really was perfect for my children they range from 11-3 they loved it. There was space enough for each one of us. The amount of freedom but closeness we had was really needed. Thank you for having us and we can not wait to come back and enjoy.

The property was amazing in is super lose to Snow Summit and Bear Mountain Resort was only a five minute drive. Close to stores and the house had more activities than listed to keep everyone plenty busy. I do not remember the TV on except to watch the ball drop the entire stay! We can not wait to get back up and excited to book here again.

This was our second trip to this property this year. Great location (if you're skiing summit, you can literally walk to the lifts). The kids love the property and I'm sure we'll be back again. Cabin is clean, well appointed and in a great location. Kids love the bunkroom downstairs. We'll see you again in March!

We had the most AMAZING time with our family! We are going back every year! The place is beautifully immaculate and the perfect place for a family getaway!!

Was perfect for all age ranges, enough room to play inside and outside for the children (enjoyed the little bit of snow) the ping pong table was a hit for the adults ! Would stay again

Beautiful home with lots of space and activities for the whole family. Enough flat and stem ware for a large group. The only down side was two of the large beds are very uncomfortable, however would totally stay again!

We had a great stay at this property. It was very clean, well-stocked and the photos are accurate. The wifi was great, and allowed all three of my kids to log-in for their school Zoom sessions at the same time with no issues. The neighborhood was nice and allowed for many walks that we enjoyed. We'd definitely stay again!
