Angefangen mit der Besitzerin! Sehr sehr nette Dame, die sich mit dem Personal um alles kümmert das der Gast zufrieden ist. War bereits mein zweites Mal hier innerhalb von 6 Monaten. Die private Hängematte auf der Veranda hilft so sehr zu entspannen. Die Lage ist optimal. Also mit dem Roller ist der Strand 5 min entfernt. Super Essensmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe (mit dem Roller 2-5 min entfernt) Ein Billard Tisch ist vorhanden. Die Unterkunft ist minimalistisch und hat alles was benötigt wird.

Got to koh chang and tried to check in but nobody was there. It took two days to speak to someone but then we spoke and they ended up giving me the hut on the beach for a discounted price.. lovely location, lovely hut, comfortable beds and nice owners but no service in the bar so drinks and food were in their neighbours bars and restaurants.... I'd recommend it as it's very quiet and situated right on the beach

If you still want to give it a shot, here are some positives: As usual, owners are nice, but that doesn't really help you when you are shaking your whole body trying to make ants fly away. Accommodation itself is a bit old, bit broken, but nothing you can't deal with. Besides ants, accommodation was clean (sheets and shower). You get complimentary water (0,5l per person per 2 nights) and you can use the kitchen for 100 baht per person per stay (100 baht has to pay every person who wants to use kitchen. So say goodbye to the romantic cooking together. If you want to spare money, only one will be cooking) Accommodation is about 6 min walking from the beach. And there is nice hammok in front of cabins - ants free, I checked ✔️

Well, first of all, this is very cheap accommodation so you kind of expect the quality won't be the best. However you should really prepare yourself for a lot, a lot of ants. We had a bit of ants in our previous accommodations, but in this accommodation, the whole colony was living in the middle of a room. After I went to complain to the reception, I received a spray against the ants. It killed a lot of them, but the room felt also inhabitable for us. I immediately got a migraine, just staying a couple of minutes in the room. And that was after about 3 hours of open windows and doors to get rid of the smell. Cabin next to us had also a problem with the ants. I noticed other guests desperately shaking their stuff outside of accommodation, and as it turned out, they have ants as well. So, if you are a friendly neighbor antmen, go for it. Otherwise I would recommend looking for another place to stay. We have been traveling in this low-budget category of hostels and guest houses for some time, but this one was the worst experience in Thailand for me so far (with accommodation).

The thing I liked the most about this place was its personel and people renting the accomodations permanently. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I got a bigger bangalow in the precise of the cheaper by accident and they let me stay one day longer in the same price
