Quiet, comfy bed, immaculate, easy parking. Host very friendly and went the extra mile to ensure that we had everything we needed. The picture does not do the room justice - it was very nice with crisp linen and soft towels

Extremely clean...and also was surprised to find a proper coffee machine at the kitchen.

Nothing to dislike, a heads up to others re location but is easily sorted with public transport. Plus it was worth being away from the noise of Brighton to rest then a short bus ride back.

I have been here many times. Karen is an excellent host. Whenever I am back in Brighton for work I always try and book here. Communication is always good and for me the location is great. Karen can provide you with suggestions of where to eat. Beds are comfortable and the access to the kitchen is wonderful.

Ideal place to stay and it has parking available! Lovely welcome from Host, who showed me around and explained how to use facilities. Breakfast was provided with a variety of options i.e cereal, yogurt, fruit and could be accessed at your convenience. Everything I needed for my stay.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Karen was the perfect host! An added bonus was we had access to a fridge and the kitchen facilities. We will definitely use again when we are in Brighton.

Beautifully maintained property in a quiet, pleasant area. The owner was extremely obliging when we needed to change the date and length of our stay. Private parking a real bonus. Generous provision of hot drinks and, though no cooked breakfast, there was a wide variety of breakfast items.

Quiet location. Excellent property. Parking at the front of the house. I had the single downstairs room which was clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was help yourself in the kitchen - cereal, fruit, yoghurts, toast with jam/marmalade etc, as well as coffee/tea/juice.

Karen is a great host and when you stay it feels like home. This venue is close to where I have to work when in Brighton. The use of the kitchen and garden not just the room you pay for is great. There are places to eat within a 20 minute walk, just remember that Brighton is hilly!

that I could stay on my own and feel safe. The area was great and I was able to walk to the locations without any worries. I met Karen on the first night, and she gave me privacy the rest of my stay. The breakfast was good for my needs.

It was very quiet and everything was there as I was informed by the owner.

It was a little further from the centre than I anticipated.

The house is clean and maintained very well, looks nice.

Shared bathroom is not very convenient.

Another good stay. Only a short drive from the South Downs, stand-out points are the off-street parking, clean bathroom and very comfortable bed.

Lovely property elevated with great views Karen is a very friendly and wonderful host. Everything was spotless. Bed and mattress were comfortable and good quality, nice garden with views, parking was a real bonus. Karen lives in this home but is very respectful of privacy. I met her for a lovely chat when she arrived home from work and didn't see her again! Breakfast is all ready for you in the fridge, good quality towels, dressing gown a box of toiletries just in case you forgot anything, attention to the details!

Booked again; had a meal at the Devil's Dyke Inn and a walk on the South Downs in the evening sunshine and then my room was only 12 minutes drive away, complete with parking space. Comfortable night in a quiet part of town.

Felt room was a but expensive for what it was but very nice and very clean with plenty of tea and coffee so not too much of a negative
