What a hidden gem. My friends and I stayed at Dream Big last year for a reunion, and the property had everything we could want. The location to the river is perfect for floating and fishing. The property had huge grills and a black stone so we were never hungry!
Athens property owner is very attentive and I cannot wait to come back next year!!!

Overall, this location was a great place for us to stay as a group. I am a student pastor, and we brought our group of 30 people here for summer retreat this year. We ran into a snag upon arrival. For context, the house is divided into 3 levels (upstairs, main level, and basement) and each has multiple bedrooms to accommodate guests.
Per the listing, there was ample room to house our girls on the main floor and upstairs and allow our guys to bunk downstairs in the massive bunk room (HUGE PLUS because this room is awesome). However, the upstairs room that was supposed to have a king and 2 twins (with trundles) only had a king bed. We ended up having to have 4 chaperones sleep on the couches (Not pullouts) around the house. We initially picked this location because it slept 30 in beds according to the listing. We made it work and everyone got a place to lay their head at night and we adjusted; we just wish things had been different.
As for the cleanliness of the cabin, almost every room was spotless save for some random things in the kitchen. One of the coffee makers still had leftover grinds in the drip hopper that had begun to grow mold.
This issue was not a reflection on the host or the home, but of the cleaning company.
The host was SUPER RESPONSIVE about every need we had, and except for the crazy bed situation, we had an amazing time at this cabin. I would definitely come again, but would bring less people.
Note: Verizon, AT&T, & T-Mobile have ZERO service.

This cabin is beautiful inside and out! We had 16 guests and there was plenty of room for everyone with extra beds left over! The outside is perfect for relaxing or fishing in the river. Our family loved it here and will definitely be back! Andy was great to work with and he was excellent on communicating!

The facilities were perfect for our group. Two negatives would be that there is no cable or satellite TV and we were all over 60 so struggled to watch NFL Draft which was the purpose of the trip. Also stairs down to back yard need to be replaced.

Such a wonderful location. Our group was there for a corporate retreat. We had plenty of space and beautiful views.
The kitchen was ample and stocked with plenty of utensils and amenities.
We had a little trouble with the fireplace but the host was incredibly responsive

Gorgeous property on the water with plenty of room for our family (20 guests) with beds to spare. Large dining area allowed us to eat and play some games together as a family. Some of the younger ones gravitated to the bunks, and game room downstairs with the pool table being the mvp. Would have utilized the fire pit seating if not for the rain but gas grill was huge and cooked the hotdogs we wanted over the fire in no time. Its about a half hour to anywhere but the mountain roads will keep you alert and young with lots of natural beauty everywhere so no one minded. There is a monument to the show squidbillies nearby which my husband found hilarious. Would stay again and def recommend for large groups.

The cabin had plenty of space for sleeping arrangements, but the common areas were quite small.
It could have been a bit cleaner. The floors had some trash, surfaces were dusty, broken blinds, and the couches were definitely old and worn.
Listing stated there was cable tv, but none of the tvs had cable, not sure if it was a satellite issue, but the weather was good and we tried to troubleshoot to no avail.
It took us about 40 minutes to get to downtown blue ridge. 35 minutes to the closest Walmart. 16 minutes to the closest winery.
All in all, it was an okay place to stay for the weekend, but we will probably try to find somewhere more convenient and with a bit more open space in the common areas.
Also, the master bedroom did not have its own bathroom, which wasn’t an issue for us. The host was nice and communication was good.

This was our 18 person family’s first time to do a Vacation Away Xmas! And we couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot!!! Enough beds, bedrooms & bathrooms! Each room was spacious & great beds! The basement was a delight to all our kiddos! Anddddd the outside was fantastic!!! We loved the grounds & the mountain get away atmosphere!! Thank you so much for having all the kitchen needs to make it less stressful!! It was all 🙌🙌🙌 thank you!

This cabin was the best cabin I’ve ever stayed in! My extended family travels to the mountains every year but this location has been the best! The cabin itself is spacious and clean. The property manager, Andy, is very attentive and responds quickly! The house has plenty of rooms and plenty of beds for our family of 22. We loved the fire pit and porch swings around it! We spent time listening to music and thinking about my uncle who passed away last year that loved the mountains. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Furniture needs to be moved and cleaned under. Dishes in cabinets were dirty. Dirty dishes left in dishwasher. We really love this cabin. This is our second time staying, but this time we had cleanliness issues. We also didn't have enough towels for everyone staying. Empty hand soap containers left. No toilet tissue in one bathroom. The Foosball table had a broken piece on it when we arrived. We would love to return because of the peacefulness of the cabin, but I would hope some of these things could be resolved. I understand it is under new management and figured you needed to know our experience this time. Thank you and really hope to return next year.

The home was better than we could have imagined. It was perfect for our event and the Owner Andy was very helpful and responsive. Beautiful landscape from the river to the horses and cows across the street that would visit every morning then go back over the mountain. Home has lots of space so we never felt crowded. We had 17 staying and then had a wedding party of 75 outside on Saturday. This should be a wedding venue. So gorgeous with the bridge over the creek and large flat yard which you do not find much in the mountains. We had the mountains for the scenery backdrops but not hilly where the home is located. This was especially important for our guests. Thank you Andy for an amazing weekend and beautiful memories.

Beautiful property! Large and spacious. Our family loved this cabin. We enjoyed the fire pit nightly and all of the games available. So quiet and peaceful sitting on the oversized porch overlooking the creek and river.

The house and the property were beautiful. The house was clean and inviting. The property was a fun place for the adults and the kids. The little stream was a great place for the kiddos to play. There was plenty of space for the kids to run around outside as well. All in all it was one of our favorite places that we have stayed at in the Blue Ridge, GA area.

Fantastic! Everything was as stated and even updated. We are a family that loves to cook and all appliances, grills, cooking utensils, serving pieces were more than we expected. Seating at the steam has been updated from concrete benches to 5 swings around the large fire pit. We would definitely book this again and Andy was the best to work with!

My husband and I decided to rent a cabin for our wedding that was big enough to house close family and friends and this property did not disappoint! Everything about it was a smooth and easy experience! The house is beautiful and has more than enough space for everyone! Andy, the property manager is amazing and I can’t say enough good things! We ended up needing some things taken care of while we were there and Andy was so prompt and made sure that we were well taken care of while we stayed. This is one of those hidden gems on this website and I’m so glad we were able to have our wedding here! Thank y’all again for an amazing experience!

We got 20 of our best friends and family together to celebrate our engagement and wedding. This home could not have been more perfect! The kitchen area was a great place to congregate but honestly we spent most of the time in the basement and outside by the fire pit. We couldn’t have asked for a better property to spend our long weekend. Can’t wait to come back with family.

This property was everything we needed and more. My youth group had plenty of things to do and tons of room to roam. The beds were extremely comfortable and their was plenty of cooking utensils, pots and pans, grills and balckstones to cook on. We wne hiking 5 miles up the road to an amazing swinging bridge and area for kids to enjoy. Will definitely be back! Thank u!

The property is Amazing, this place completed our heart desires. However the cleaning wasn’t up to standard there were nets everywhere, the toilets were not cleaned, spider webs in corners floors had not been sweep. So my guest did spring clean in the summer. I will definitely lease this property again. It was Amazing !!!!!!!

First I like to thank Ashley for protecting our privacy for our magical day, the place inside looked exactly like the pictures , it was clean, large & family friendly . Ashley got in contact with us right away, We had a magical day fir our wedding and close friends and family enjoyed the stay as they stayed with us We made great memories , the sounds of the creek was delightful as the butterflies flew by , the swing with the fireplace all the family relaxed around , sang and bonded . Breakfast & dinner we enjoyed at the pine tables . Then we played the games and pool downstairs . The only suggestions I’d update the couches in the game room they have tears & seal the log cabin outside . Other than that ( the hot tub worked great. This us perfect for a small wedding or just family bonding or retreats . I would recommended it to others and will be coming again . ❤️🌺

GREAT MOUNTAIN VACATION
Very clean. There were 16 of us. Best appliances, 2 refrigerators, Beds and bedding top notch. Kitchen stocked with 3 coffee makers, electric griddles and slow cookers. Outside grills were wonderful. Family used the hot tub every night. The creek and river was wonderful. My crew had fishing licenses. Good thin because the game warden came by. One small thing. Need small refridg. on bottom layer near game room and bunk room. Never able to get internet.

Annual family vacation
Beautiful house and area. Loved having access to creek and river. House was very clean and leasing agent Ashley was very helpful. We really enjoyed the large tables in he kitchen which accommodated our huge family.
Only recommendation would be to put larger AC unit for the 2 upstairs bedrooms. It was a very hot week and AC unit did not sufficiently cool the upper level. Another suggestion would be seating for the front porch. Luckily we brought some folding chairs to use while we grilled on the front porch.
All in all, it was a wonderful stay.

If it’s relaxation you want, this is it!
A group of family spent 5 nights here for my aunt & uncles 65th anniversary. Perfect! Trout fishing right in front of the cabin, amazing game room downstairs, yard and creek for the little kids, roomy, clean, up to date. We did have a washing machine mishap. It was a small inconvenience and Ashley was extremely nice and got someone out to look at it.
If it’s peace & quite you want, lazy trout fishing in the river or canoeing/kayaking/tubing that you prefer, then choose this cabin!

Blue Ridge Wedding Weekend
The cabin fit our family perfectly. The grounds were terrific. There were issues with cleanliness and there were several broken items such lights, cabinets, plumbing just to name a few.

Great property with a lot of cool ammenities!
We loved our stay here! The checkin and checkout process was very easy. The house was clean and big enough to accommodate a large group of women comfortably. All of the bathrooms were really big and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all the appliances/cookware we needed.The hot tub was great. The true winner is the property---the creek/river steps from the back door, kayaking near by, the onsite grill/firepit. It was so fun to stay here, the property mgmt company was responsive and helpful... and I'd definitely recommend it to others!
Now the cons...If you're looking for mountain views-this isnt the right location for you (as you can probably tell from the photos). There were a few hikes near by but nothing really all that special. Another con is the house is really dark-not a lot of natural light at all and dimly lit in the main living area even with lights on. There wasn't a "true" master-no room with an ensuite but this wasn't a problem for us, though i imagine it could be a con for some.I found it weird there were no body soaps/shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms...not even a travel size, but they did mention this in the description so we were prepared.
Overall it was a fantastic place for a weekend get away with all of my closest friends!
