This is an impeccable guesthouse with wonderful rooms. It is so comfortable and feels like a home. The staff is communicative and excellent. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. I really loved that our room had two rooms and a hallway in it. We finally got some space. The way they designed the guesthouse is to maximize comfort of the guests. And it is very clean and well decorated.

The room was very small, but the shared areas were nice. The owner communicated what we needed to know before our arrival, which was helpful.

Our room had bright sun shining in all day and was too hot to sleep in comfortably. The location was somewhat confusing and a nice neighbor helped us locate the right building.

Comfortable rooms, well appointed. The shared kitchen had everything you would need to make food. They even had coffee and tea available.

Nice kitchen where we could prepare a quick meal after arrived and just before to go to the Forrest Lagoon. Next day, we prepared our breakfast after had a good sleep.

Hum, It was not easy to find the entrance. We were in the right house but not seeing that we must turn around, let me say, to the back of the house. It was night and it was snowing...but we found it after a few minutes.

Our room was comfy and clean, main area looked great, especially the kitchen. I wish we could stay longer and have a chance to use the jacuzzi :)

It's nothing big, but the shower makes pitchy squeeking noises when someone uses it

Everything was really clean and the host really nice. Location is good, it is few minutes from Akureyri and view is good.

It was more as an hostel stay. All walls are really thin so we where aware of all comunication of others. There is only one toilet, you can not be overwaight or with long legs to use it and limited privacy since the toiletdoor is only like 2/3 of a dooor. Your stay depands really on who your share the guesthouse with since you will be aware of walk a round. We thought there would be litle bit more privacy in the room.

The rooms do not have private bathroom.

We were so disappointed when we arrived that we didn't stay even though already paid. It was tiny and had a shared bathroom. Did not feel good. It was our only poor choice in all of Iceland. The town of Akureyri was also disappointing.

stunning location, beautiful and clean room with alk the services

The hosts were very nice and very responsive. We requested some more coffee and, a few minutes later, it was already replenished. Even before our arrival, the hosts sent us very helpful tips about the surroundings: places to visit, to eat, to go for a drink, etc. It was a great choice to stay in their accommodation!!

There were some flies in the kitchen. It was probably because some other guests had left the door open and the flies came in at that time. There is not much to do about it.

clean rooms, nice view

very thin walls, from the website we thought that we will get cabin because we booked two rooms, but we get room with probably 3 another rooms with shared bathrooms and toilet. There was just one toilet and shower for 5 rooms. So the booking page of this accommodation was very confusing and we didn’t know what we get until we came to the accommodation

Owners were extremely proactive and communicated quickly. They provided an insight on the area before our arrival and provided all the check in details several days before.
