Very cute and authentic little place with cosy cottages and a very well equipped kitchen. Every detail well designed and thought out!

Cottages hosting 4 pax do not have 2 separate bedrooms, and one couple must sleep on a pull-out couch in the living room.

Great place to stay when visiting Kasane. Next to Coffee Buzz and Old House for eating options, or a short walk to Spar supermarket if you want to self cater in the more than adequate kitchenette (we bought pre-cooked frozen meals from Coffee Buzz which we reheated in the microwave.

Great location, clean and comfortable cottage, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent cleaning /laundry services, affordable, great access to the river, everything we needed was offered (bedding, towels, kitchen utensils and dishes), lovely small pool

I think the layout of the kitchen was a bit awkward- all other rooms were excellent - the kitchen could do with a bit of modernization Maybe the hosts could stock and sell charcoal for the braai. We struggled to find this in town.

Excellent staff! Daily housekeeping. Spacious, bright and clean cottages. Very comfortable and private space - hardly noticed our neighbours. Safe, secure environment. Beautiful sunset views from the deck by the river. Clean pool. Well stocked kitchen - pots, pans, utensils. Really enjoyed our stay.

Wifi didn't work most of the time.

The staff was friendly and it is in a secure area. At night the security gentleman was visible all the time. The deck area on the river bank was icing on the cake.

Everything was super. No complaints.

Very comfortable, clean, very well equipped, nicely decorated chalets. Beautiful terrace. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Lovely staff.

We had a breakdown on the road to Kasane. We didn't arrive until the morning after my reservation. We were exhausted and dirty but only had an hour before our safari tour left. I was willing to pay full price for just am opportunity to shower and sit down, I have a broken leg too. Rather than make me pay they allowed me to shower and rest for an hour for FREE!!! After telling them what happened they were so kind and sympathetic it brought tears to my exhausted eyes. The room was beautiful and the staff goes above and beyond. I will definitely be back and look forward to staying for a longer period of time. God bless you all at Chobe River Cottages!
